Hey everyone!

I don't normally post here a lot- just a few random threads/ posts every now and again! But admittedly, I do a looot of noseying around! But anyway, back to the point of this thread- soo yesterday I got a Wii and today I got the Wii Fit along with the Wii Fitness Coach (completely different to the Wii Fit)- and I am already completely hooked! The Wii Fit is great and a lot of fun but not in terms of burning calories and having a hardcore workout- it's more for lighter exercise and getting better posture :). But the Wii Fitness Coach is AMAZING! Seriously! I totally recommend it to anyone! And ESPECIALLY if you want to lose weight! It's great because you create a profile- you have to fill out measurements, height, weight, age, how often you exercise and do some fitness tests and according to your results a 'personal trainer' creates a workout program for you! And it definitely gets you sweating!! You can do a ton of different exercises helpful for various things- upper body strength, lower body strength, cadio, weight loss and flexibility- or you can just relax and do some yoga (which is soo good for you and not as easy as it looks!). And throughout the workout the trainer asks you how you're doing and again adapts everything accordingly! It's so much more fun than going out to the gym! And so motivating! So yeah, I just had to express my excitement about it all! I've never been one to be in exercise and care about how fit I am- but getting the Wii Fitness Coach has motivated me and made me want to exercise! Whilst I don't want to lose weight because I'm completely happy with my weight and at a very healthy weight- exercise makes you feel soo good and has a ton of physical and mental benefits!

Anyway- has anyone else got a Wii Fit or a Wii Fitness Coach? If so, what do you think? If you don't have one, how do you exercise, how often and do you enjoy it?

Lol.
I just started going my wii fitness coach again this morning.
45 minute lower body workout. :faint:
That thing is tough but awesome.

ITA with the wii fit. It's fun, but you really need the fitness coach if you're wanting to help get in shape. :)

I still run, do workout videos, and yoga too.

RE: Snow_White- Oh dear- a 45 min lower body workout!! Haha, sounds fun! So far, I've done 2 lots of 15 mins workout- one for cardio and another for upper body strength- the upper body strength was doable but I was so worn out from the cardio!! I have my first 'scheduled workout' on Monday for 45 minutes!! Eeek! How often do you workout with the Fitness Coach?

(As you can tell, I'm already turning into a fitness freak!)

Yeah, I startd getting into shape last year so I really like exercising.

I've had it on hold after being lazy for awhile, but I'll most likely go for 30 minutes a day. Switching it up between all the selections. Over the weekends probably 45-60 minutes. Depending on how buys I am weekdays may only be 15 minutes or skip.

When I first got it, I wouldn't even finish the 15 minutes because I was tired. haha.

Oh dear, I've only been scheduled for 3 45 min workouts a week! But I reckon when I'm not busy and during the school holidays I'll do more! It's great when you're bored and it makes you feel like you've actually done something useful with your time!

I use My Fitness Coach way more than the Wii Fit since that isn't much of a workout at all.
I like it because it's got a bunch of different exercises and it gives you an idea of what to do.
But I usually workout without that since I like to do different things and some of those aren't too challenging.

I also have to say if you're just starting exercise I wouldn't push it too far. I've been exercising for awhile and 45 minutes from yesterday really made my thighs sore.
If you don't think you worked hard enough one day, wait until the next. You'll really feel it! :goodvibes

I have Wii Fit! I was addicted last summer! It actually helped me lose weight too (along with healthier eating of course!) I need to get back into it once I'm done school.
I mostly did the Yoga things to warm up and then went into the training moves with the trainer--once you keep unlocking more "levels" with all of the different moves, you can eventually do challenges against your trainer.
(I owned my trainer in jackknifes hahaha!)

I don't have the fitness coach thing, my mom was looking into getting it though.

What I'm doing now fitness wise though is a pilates class twice a week and some CRAZZZY workout regime called P90X (my BF is doing it and he sent me a few of the videos) It's great!!

Wii Fit is really great though, makes fitness more fun, and with a healthy diet it's definitely effective!

I know this is a teen forum but I wanted to put my input in about MyFitnessCoach. I completely agree about MyFitnessCoach! :yay: I cannot make the comparison with WiiFit, but I did read a lot of reviews before I purchased fitness coach and many said they liked it better than WiiFit. MyFitnessCoach was much less expensive, so I decided to give it a try and have been very happy with it! My kids can't stay away from it either every time I turn it on (they are 9, 6, and 3)! I love all the options and how workouts are different every time. I also tried the 45 minute workout ONCE not long after purchasing and boy was I feeling it afterward!! I did do a review on it with more details and demonstrations: http://www.expotv.com/videos/reviews/22/191/My-Fitness-Coach/293875

I do not have the Myfitnesscoach but I do have Wii Fit and I love it and it can really get me working I do at least 10 minutes in each category but usually more like today I went in there and did a hour without even realizing it, it is SO MUCH FUN!
