What a great report. I can't believe that you put up with all that. I would have left them from the start.

We are going on a family trip in December and I have a feeling that I am going to end up with a similar TR to yours. It will be DH, baby, & I, my parents, Sister & BIL. We are using our DVC points for a 2 bedroom AND a studio so everyone has lots of space. My parents are paying for all the meals. All my sister & BIL have to pay for are their park tickets. Well, Funsucker (that is how we refer to my BIL) doesn't want to pay that much money for a 3 day park hopper. So he is trying to get us to rearrange the schedule so they only do one park a day and only need a 2 day park pass (no idea how that is going to work). We DH & I have already decided we are going to do whatever we want (especially since we will be working around baby's schedule) and just meet them for meals. We are also going to have my parents stay in the 2brdm with us and give them their own studio so we don't have to hear them and that will be their christmas gift. We really didn't want to reward them with their own room, since he is being such a PIA, but we figured it would be easier for us.

I will have to keep everyone posted as to what happens as we get closer.

GREAT REPORT! I don't usually read trip reports, but I saw your title and was hooked! LOL! I stayed up last night until 2 am, and finished it this morning! I hope that your trip to the Poly was great, and that you and Grumpy had a marvelous time. It it terrible to be in the happiest place on earth and be mad and stuck with people that don't like disney.

Well, you are a great sister, and I applaud you for your generousity to your sister. Maybe someday she will appreciate it.

Oh my gosh, I don't even know what to say, but I'm just so sorry that you went to so much trouble and time in planning and thinking of them and it obviously wasn't appreciated.

Yes, you need to write a TR on this latest trip! We all need the "happy ending" for you and Grumpy. Just read your last installment on the April trip. I didn't things could have gotten worse... silly me!!!

Maybe this will make you feel not so alone...last summer after providing my sisters room once again (she never has paid for a room at Disney) she had brought her 5 yo granddaughter along (I have a 9 yo). Well this child is so unbelievably spoiled it is ridiculous. She refused to behave and made our trip pretty miserable. Our last day for the parks we were all up getting ready to head out to DHS and she acted up again. My sister decided she was going to make her stay in for a while. We later found out she took her to DHS just after we left. She just didn't to be with us so she could let her granddaughter do & buy whatever she wanted.

When I found out later that they had followed us to the park I was furious. I will not provide them with a room ever again.

So sorry your sister was such a witch. Hope your trip back was much better.

Marina, don't feel bad about the Strawberry Shortcake thing. She made her debut when I was probably around 8 and I have loved her and her friends ever since. I'm shocked by the whole return of the 80's.

Im going to be 26 years old in December and I love Hello Kitty, The Fraggles, and Hannah Montana. Seriously...the Disney Channel is the only thing on TV actually worth watching these days...

It's hard to write a report that can keep interest, yet you do it fairly easily. I don't think I could manage to write a one page report of any interest to anyone, even myself. You are witty and humerous. Well done.

We went to Sea World over the weekend and I thought of you when we saw the dolphin show. Did you by chance see the Sea Lion show at night that spoofs the daytime shows? Hilarious!

I have a sister that reminds me very much of yours. When we plan outings as a treat for my mom or as a sisters getaway, she always comes and then "mysteriously" doesn't have the money to pitch in her fair share, complains the entire time, and makes everyone else generally miserable. I should have updated this weekend but I was beat (I HATE WORKING SUNDAYS!!!) and guess who's visiting now ? Yep my dear sister. She's trying to move back around here, so she came up to see some apartments.

It's so weird, I never used to have jet lag before. These past 2 trips, I came back, didn't sleep for 3 days, then slept for almost an entire day, and now I'm back to being absolutely unable to sleep. I'm sooooooo beat!!!

Seriously, I've read your entire trip & my mouth is open in disbelief. You're a much better woman than I I would have left their sorry butts lay around in the hotel & saved the money by going to dinner alone with Grumpy for sure. And buying them any more souvineirs! I don't think so.

I can't believe it but I have sat here and read through your entire TR. Why you ask? Because, I was completely dumbfounded and amazed (not in a good way) at your sister & her friend. What a couple of ungrateful, selfish, lazy stick in the mud girls. OMG!!!! I cannot even imagine the amount of $$$ you must have spent on them.

You deserve sainthood or something because I would have strung them up. Should you ever have a do-over, please dump them the first day and enjoy yourselves. It really angered me at how you and your mom were treated!

You are amazingly kind & patient. Please, please leave them home and call me. I promise I am WAY MORE FUN!!!
