I hope I am not too late to wish you and Grumpy a fun and safe trip
We will be waiting for a report as soon as you get back - we know you will have to write when you get back because you "can never say goodbye, never say goodye" to your DIS friends.
The radio station I listen to at work plays music from the 80's at noon and I heard "Livin' on a Prayer" and thought - Oh no! I must post before you leave

Great report... I'd kill the sister ... if you only didn't talk to her for a week after this trip you should be nominated for sainthood. In my house that grudge would have lasted much longer than that!!!

Too many people are reading this TR and each time the photos are downloaded, so eventually it reaches the limit (cause I'm sure it is free), and then it stops. Don't know if it is a day or monthly limit.

Anyway, one way to help is not copy photos when you reply to a message. That just doubles the number of times it is downloaded.

This hardly EVER happens (hey, I'm Italian!) but I'm speechless. I was really hoping that they had done SOMETHING! Even going to DTD and going to the movies would have been OK! AHHHH!!!!!! I'm so frustrated right now!!!

Those pics of Stitch were GREAT! Our Mousekeeper kept putting my giant Stitch in the window at ASMo, and I swore that some little 2nd grader was gonna break in and steal it!

I really enjoyed reading your trip report, and just want to say that you and your mom are saints, 1- for paying for their trip and 2- for putting up with their, for lack of a Dis appropriate word, laziness, for as long as you did.

Some people just aren't meant for parks. We took a family vacation to Orlando in 2004 with my husband's two sisters and their families. The one sister and her husband had to stop between each ride to rest and discuss where to go next, not just for a minute or two but 20-30 minutes each time. Her husband complained the entire time about headaches, the heat, the cost and so on. He didn't want to ride anything, we had to drag him on stuff and after he would ride he would thank us for making him because he enjoyed it. After two days of that we had enough and left them at the house for the next park day and the rest of us had a wonderful time. We all just went from ride to ride, only stopping to eat and use the restroom. So while we love the other sister and her husband dearly, we learned never, ever vacation with them to theme parks.

I hope you and your mom have a wonderful trip, I am sure it will be much more pleasant than the last one.

HA! You leave today. I've been reading your trip report for days -LOVE IT!!
We'll be there on the 2nd - 10th. Maybe I will bump into you somewhere - I would love to practice my French. You probably would hate to listen to it!

You have a peach of a mom. My oldest DS is somewhat like your sis. He does want to work, but complains about everything and it is always someone else's fault. He wants to go to Disney with us, so I told him to just pay for his tixs and food and gave him the price, but he can't save up the $$. He was told in January when we would be going. He works just enough to pay his bills (he lives with us) and blows anything he has left. He owes people $$, us included. So I refuse to pay for him to go. If we paid for it, he would act a bit like your sis did. He doesn't like to get up early or eat at certain times. We do and have lots of ADRs. If he had to pay for it, I think he would enjoy it more and we would also. To be at Disney and not enjoy everything it has to offer is beyond me. Enjoy your stay at the Poly.

Man was it bad. I couldn't take it. We had a 11 year old girl sitting in the middle on MGM crying! She didn't like the front row seat I got her for the high school musical. That was it for me. The rest of the trip I took the 4 old kids, and my mom got the brats. My mom didn't care. All they wanted to do was swim at POR. Even when we were at the water parks, they wanted to go back to POR! This year (IN 21 DAYS ) My DS13 and I are going to WDW alone!!!!! I can't wait. We get along great! Thanks for a great trip report!!
