We, that is Me ,DW , DD-13 , DD-11 & DS-10 are doing our First WDW trip Aug 22 - Aug 29.

We are staying @ BC so we can swim in Storm-A-Long Bay!

I'll be at AKL with my DD4 and sister the 19-22. We were just at WDW in May and have a trip planned for December, but I couldn't resist the August codes. I have always wanted to stay at AKL and with the code I can finally afford it! We aren't even doing any parks aside from TL or BB. It will be too hot for me. We just plan on lounging by the pool and doing lots of character meals (my DD's favorite WDW thing). I can't wait!

We took advantage of the August room only code and upgraded from the All Star Music to Port Orleans Riverside.

We~ DS's and myself (DH opted to stay home for this trip!) will be at POP 8/18-25. Our first time at POP! We're very excited!

We (DW, DD age 12, DS age 8 and myself) will be there 7/30/04 through 8/7/04.

We have 2 August trips booked. 8/11 - 8/14 for just the wife and I at SSR (studio) & 8/22 - 8/28 for the 4 of us also at SSR, though in a 2 bedroom that time. Love our DVC.

We are leaving on 8/22 from NJ and will be arriving on the 23rd (hopefully sane since we are driving) and staying to the 31st!!!!! We are staying at SOG and then may split up and stay at Poly!

We are driving down on the 13th of August we will be staying for 7 nights.

How long is your drive? Ours is 17hrs! We usually drive straight thru but last time was rough and we are thinking about stopping.

It takes us around 16 hrs once we get off the Ferry in Lewes De.
We usually drive straight thru, however this time we may not leave until 5 :00 pm so we may stop for the night.

Here I am thinking I have to find a hotel room along the way because we have to stop driving because it is such a long drive. Then I read the above posts of you folks driving all the way from New Jersey. I am in Georgia. I need to toughen up a bit!!

So I am going to be there 08-27-04 till 08-30-04. It will be just me and my (what do you call a boyfriend?) maybe DB.

LOL... yeah we're driving from Mass, so we are going to stop 2 nights on the way! I think there are also people on this thread who drive from Maine! But in the end, it doesn't matter how long it takes for Dis ers to get there. Driving from Georgia is decent ride as well.

No matter what the distance, we all share the passion to get there and have fun! I hope you enjoy your trip!

Wife and I on a belated honeymoon will be leaving July 31 for Florida and will be returning August 17th. Visits will include a Disney Cruise, all of the Disney Parks, Universal Parks, Busch Gardens and Sea World plus a few days to relax and shop.

Grand trip total tops off at around $5,100 - not bad considering that we will be eating in places like La Cellier, Fulton's, California Grill etc.

We will be wearing our bride and groom mouse ears. If you see us, please say hi.
