Alien Encounter was clearly meant for teens/adults, but parents didn't read the signs and they took their small children on it (they were obviously terrified). I wish it would have stayed.

I always thought the upstairs of the ImageWorks pavillion was still open. Why did they abandon it? I think that they need to update that area and re-open everything as well as the Wonders Of Life

Didn't Epcot have some dinosaur exhibit? It wasn't Ellen. I remember seeing it as a little girl, but I don't remember what it was.

Might of been Animal Kingdom. They had a dinosaur exhibit in the place where Primeval Whirl is now. Check out www.parkeology.com since I think that's where I read it.

I agree. They cut the old Imagination track off half-way and they used the rest of the old track for the new Imageworks. I wish they would re-vamp the whole pavilion for the old version. I went to WOL the last week before it closed for good in 2007. It was empty and outdated, but it had potential. Not anymore :sad2:

I heard about Alien Encounter when I was really young and actually after I went from my Aunt and Uncle. I heard it was terrifying. I wish it was still there when I went. They do have Stitch's Great Escape, which is the same thing basically except the Alien isn't as terrifying.

I hate Stitch's Great Escape. The effects rarely even work most of the time. It was boring. They didn't work when I went on it. And the Chili Dog smell is horrible.

When I was little I used to love all that supernatural stuff, I used to be obsessed with those shows on the Travel channel, like Most Haunted and Ghost Adventures, you know, along that line. Then was I was like 9, I saw a "Most Haunted" about a possessed doll. I don't think I slept for like 3 days. And I made my parents bring any type of doll in the house in the attic. And so they cut me off from those shows. And I haven't seen one since

See I missed so much because I didn't go to Disney until last year. My parents actually had pictures of a place, I don't know where, but it was based off Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs as a Dwarfs village. I'm trying to figure out where it was but I can't seem to find where it was.

I also never got to experience the Mexico Boat Tour before they turned it into the Three Caballeros. The Haunted Mansion before the refurb. I just missed so much.

If you go to the Epcot page on All Ears and scroll down to the archives, you can see articles on all the old Epct attractions. Very nice tributes.

The old Spaceship Earth wasn't anything special, IMO.

I think the EPCOT ball looks much better without the wand. It looked cheesy and cheap with the wand. It looks much better without it (:

I think the general consensus on WDWMagic is that Stitch is an awful successor to Alien Encounter.

I heard that. I'm still going to try it the next time I go. I wish Disney was reading all we were saying right now and just take a whole other set of builders and work on fixing some other things in MK and Epcot. DHS is fine, as is AK, unless you want Tarzan Rocks! back which I heard was a lot better than the new Nemo show, which I personally like.

I personally don't think I could go with an old Spaceship Earth because I really like the new one.
It was pretty outdated, It talked about the "brand new internet", I remember. It was definitely up for the refurb
