For my friends 11th birthday her parents gave her a Hogwarts letter.

Guess who was really depressed when she found out that it wasn't real? I felt so bad for her xD She was SO excited. They literally went all out on it. They got a legit real owl to fly in and drop it infront of her. She opened it and it looked so legitly real. She went CRAZY. And then she was like "I CAN'T WAIT TO GO TO HOGWARTS!" and she ran to her room to start packing and the whole time she's yelling "I KNEW I WAS A WIZARD!" and her parents were like "...wait, she thinks this is real?" and then they had to convince her that it was just a fun present. And she got sooooo sad. Way to get her hopes up. It would've been better to not do that at all...

That sounds amazing. I totally would have jumped up screaming "I KNEW IT WAS REAL!" and started packing. Oh the tears that would have been shed that night.
