Hah, that's a quote from the Daily Mail. They say it on the adverts here. "The best family movie since Toy Story 3!". Actually, it was a good movie. Then again, I like animated films. I prefer them to other ones really.

Absolutely. Dreamworks makes me angry....... blech. I don't even like thinking about them. And I totally agree that they sound like lame attempts. Although their attempts to appeal to guys in Tangled turned out pretty nice, I thought. Flynn was awesome.

Yes, but to do that, Disney had to make the previews for Tangled look totally different from what the movie was about. Last time I checked, P!NK doesn't sing in Tangled.

Then again,the movie is from the creators of the Ice Age movies and I love Ice Age 3. I got it for Easter.

You got it the wrong way around. But it seems like everyone got it right I guess. It should really be:

£1 = US$1.65
CA$1 = US$1.05
€1 = US$1.50
AU$1 = US$1.07

GEORGE I took your advice and I bought some hot chocolate from whittard today, it's SO GOOD. I got the White chocolate one and the caramel one. I've only had the caramel one but it was so so so nice! :')


so Friday is the royal wedding, and Saturday I'm going to a lunch party and an evening party. the lunch party is for my mum's next door neighbour when she was my age, he's gonna be 100 :') and his daughter was engaged to the guy that presents the wright stuff so.. and then in the evening it's a family friend's party. we've known her since before I was born and she's gonna be 40. let's just say I'm glad I have the Monday and tuesday off too LOL

So true. But there was some action, and I thought a pretty nice balance between action and princess-ness.

Oh, and I am so glad that, unlike the commercial, her hair does not actually have ninja skills. That would have been too fake.

King of the Elves sounds like a pretty cool story. Not something I'd expect from Disney, but still pretty cool.

I've only seen this version once, in school. I was like "..since when is that song in it?" and my teacher looked it up and was like "oh, it's just on the DVD version" and I was like "thought so.."

I LOVE ICE AGE! One of the very few non-Disney animated movies I like (There really is only two that and Shrek). They are so funny! I think DreamWorks is too much of a comic relief type of business than trying to really get deep into the emotional part of a movie like Disney. Even during the emotional scenes they make things funny.

It stands for Yet Another Grand Entrance/Exit. Some people use it to get attention and it backfires on them. I know you didn't mean it that way, but still.

Yup... in total agreement. Although, How to Train Your Dragon was pretty unbad esp. for Dreamworks. I had really low expectations and was pleasantly surprised.
