The What's On Your Mind Thread and the Countdown to Opening Day

Polynesian- I have heard great things about Poly, but won't analyze because I have never stayed there.

Riverside- Transportation is okay, you can take a boat to DTD. Rooms are okay, not an overdose of theming. Nice exteriors. Tons of water recreation. Awesome food court. I like this hotel, but it is not too unique on the inside. The exteriors are wonderful.

Yacht Club- I have stayed at Beach Club, and it was fantastic. I won't analyze Yacht Club because I don't know how similar they are.

French Quarter- Much more colorful than its counterpart Riverside. I have read that the rooms are smaller here than at Riverside. I can't really say much on this either.

Pop Century- Transportation is always buses, and they are always packed. Rooms are comfy. If you like the All Star Resorts, you will love the rooms at Pop Century. The exteriors are really fun. You can take a picture with any of them. The arcade, food court, and pools are fantastic. Mousekeeping usually leaves towel animals. Love all the theming. This is a great value resort.

Wilderness Lodge- You can take the bus anywhere or you can take a boat to Magic Kingdom or another MK resort. The rooms are very nice and home-y and are very unique and welcoming. Most rooms have balcony views and you can see the MK fireworks from some rooms. The entire resort is around the stunningly beautiful lobby area with its rustic chandelier and woodsy architecture. We have tons of pictures of us in the lobby alone. Mousekeeping is very good. There is a small "river" that flows from the lobby to the area outside to the pool area. Pools and food court are solid. Arcade is very poor. This is a fantastic resort and my second favorite on property the price tag is not too nice, but it is so worth it.

I hope this helps. (:

Thanks Drew! I personally think I'm really trying to push for Riverside, but its mom's choice that's my next step to top 4. She will eliminate two. I have a feeling its going to be the Deluxes.

Finish packet on Heat- ugh
Finish reading my novel- yay
Gather material for Speech Project- okay

I'm saving the "ugh" for last. ;)

Here is my wish list:

Comfortable to stay in
Transportation isn't a huge hassle (Buses generally are efficient and coming through)
Rooms are decent, clean and nice to look at
Gorgeous Exteriors (Something you'd want to take a picture of)
Extra Experiences (A Nice View, Other Transportation, etc.)
Good Mousekeeping (Wasn't too pleased with them last trip)
Decent Price (Worth the stay)
Different/Original Quality (Nothing like I've done before (Disney basically already has this in the bag, but maybe Disney different))
yacht club:
comfortable - the beds omg. I don't know how many of you there will be but when I go it's me, mum & dad so I get my own queen sized bed, ahhh SO COMFY. everyone at the concierge and reception are so nice, and so are the doormen and the bellhops.
transportation - loads of buses, they're really frequent. you can also walk or get a boat to epcot or get a boat or bus to dhs and bus everywhere else
rooms - the rooms are great. in the ones I've stayed in, they have 2 queen sized beds, with overhead lamps on either side of the bed, a desk with an awesome mickey light, gorgeous views, a fold out sofabed, some purdy pictures (; a tv, big chests of drawers etc.. the rooms are pretty big. there's a separate alcove thing with sinks in and then through that in the door is the toilet and bath/shower.
exterior - I posted a picture on your thread.
extras - if you go next door into the beach club, you can have your pictures done like a photopass all over the two hotels, boardwalk and beaches. and of course there's the friendship boats and easy to walk places.
good mousekeeping - two thumbs up
decent price - it is pretty expensive, but it is a deluxe resort. IMO it's DEFINATELY worth the money. we always go for a lower priced room, and they're always happy to upgrade you.
Disney different? - well the swimming pool has an epic slide, ngl. and some of the pools have a sandy bottom with sinkholes, it's so cool :') every night in the summer they also show Disney movies on the beach.
I hope that helped(:

Constructed for the 1912 season, the new ballpark was named by then Red Sox owner John I. Taylor because it was built in an area of Boston known as the Fens. As Taylor said, "It's in that section of Boston, isn't it? Then call it Fenway Park."

From 1912 to 1933, there was a 10-foot-high mound that formed an incline in front of the left field wall at Fenway park, extending from the left-field foul pole to the centerfield flag pole. As a result of the mound, a left fielder in Fenway Park had to play the entire territory running uphill. Boston's first star left fielder, Duffy Lewis, mastered the skill so well that the area became known as Duffy's Cliff.

During the KCA's some people got totally ripped off!
#1 Phineas and Ferb loses to Spongebob
#2 Victoria Justice loses to Selena Gomez
#3 Nick Jonas loses to Dylan Sprouse

oh well. (:
