No..... Although I think the name for the Bronx comes from the name of the guy who owned the land WAY back in the day. Jonas Bronks or something Dutch....at the time it WAS a farm! The Bronx started out as some sort of suburb....then turned into the picture of urban blight.
There's a "farm museum" in Queens. We went there on a field trip. The kids can ride a pony in a circle, and see farm animals like cows, pigs, and sheep. There are also baby ducks and chickens they can touch. (poor things!) Also, they take the kids on this hayride thing in a circle. Oh, and they got to take home a pumpkin.
(Don't you live in NY sometimes?)
I work out of Middletown sometimes. I've just been stuck here in New Orleans on a project for the last 6 mos. I should be back up your way in May!
