The Weekend Grind ~ 4/13/13 - 4/14/13

Good Evening... Looks like everyone is busy this weekend...

We had soccer this morning/afternoon (2 games - 2 different towns) so we have been on the go since 9AM! Cold, bitter wind but I've stood out in worse for games... Both teams played great but fell short of the victories but it wasn't for lack of shots on goal... some yard-troll kept moving the goal left or right so our shots missed!

So, the rest of the list consists of:

laundry - uniforms are priority one
finish 6 scrapbook pages = 2011 will be done tonight
boys to clean their rooms
DS16 off to movies with friends (home by midnight)
since DS16 is out til midnight, I will be up scrapping some more of DD's senior photos (goal 10 pages) ~~ finished 11!
finish DS16's boutineer tonight for next weekend's PROM
load and run dishwasher
make sure everything is ready for games tomorrow.. we have a car full of kids tomorrow... ~ must remember to pack febreeze!!! BOYS after the soccer game.. not fun!!! LOL


I'll have to come back and update my Sunday list... game isn't til 2pm but we have to leave by 12:15 for the drive over...

review DS12's big project due in a few weeks ~ have him set up breakdown and deadlines since he has track and soccer seasons going simultaneously til the end of school

an hour in the front yard raking (did the back last week)
finishing my side of the bed (did 2/3 of it Saturday)
tackling DH's side of the bed
putting shelves up in the boys room
running through the toy bins in the boys room
putting away all the stuff in the various rooms that I gathered from my room
starting to organize the linen closet
finish laundry
switch out winter sheets for summer sheets
wash and put away the winter sheets

Sounds like a busy weekend for you Buffy!!

I have DH off this whole week-end
so we got some plants yesterday - got them all in the backyard - hopefully we keep them all alive - still need a few more for my area of the backyard

started Snow White inkscaping on the laptop - still need to work on the 2 I got going here on the desktop

going to go get Richard later so spending time with him instead of scrapping

hope everyone has a great week-end

My Sister saw the tie dye shirts so now I'm having to make them - got the dye order should be here Tuesday

Happy Weekend!

Yesterday was supposed to be quiet day at home doing chores, Julia decided we had to go shopping instead. I did manage to get the laundry done, and got Julia to vacuum since she wanted to go shopping.

We ended up making an afternoon of it and stopped for dinner on our way home since DH and DS weren't going to be home for dinner. We are still looking for capris and a light sweatshirt for Julia, there weren't many out in the stores and she didn't like what there was. I guess we are looking online today!

So my list was a bust. We stripped the beds, need to vacuum them and put fresh sheets on but we spent practically the entire day at Lowe's looking for new carpet and flooring for the house. DH seems to have this notion that we have all kinds of money to spend on new flooring.
Uh, maybe carpet upstairs but that's about it. MEN!!
