prep a few dinners early
await snow storm...

DS17 to review and make sure he has all the items for scholarships to be mailed next week
boys to clean their rooms
scrap --- scrap DS17's school photos
watch the snow fall
wait to see what school decides... delay or cancel

Good morning, and happy weekend! We are expecting an ice storm starting tomorrow, and I'm not looking forward to it. The last one we had was in 2003, and some people (my ILs included) were without power for over a week. They aren't sure where the line of ice/snow is going to be, so we may get "lucky" and end up with only snow--that works for me, even though I'm tired of it.

Today:
DH grocery shopping on his way home from work
Laundry - many, many loads of it
general pickup
run sweeper through downstairs
sweep steps
mop kitchen
clean both bathrooms

After I get the sweeping done, I'm going to have DH bring the scrap table back into the living room. Yes, it is in the way, but who cares? I get more done that way. I'm expecting to be out of school/off work at least Monday, and possibly Tuesday.

Welcome Weekend!

Have been up since 6:30 - DH and I ran to Lowes to look at shower tile and plants and then we went out to Biscayne Bay park for a walk. Beautiful morning - sunny, clear and in the high 60's...

They were talking 6-10 inches here between tonight and tomorrow, but have now downgraded it to 1-2, which means that it will be over a foot. I wish I could be wrong so often in my job.

Anyhow...Hope everyone is well. We are still in the depths of a deep-freeze, but I did all my outside errands yesterday. Going to plug in the Cameo, put chili in the crock pot and craft!

Ooh, colonoscopy prep......the fun never ends here, ladies!! We are one exciting bunch and the things we do to get a relaxing day! Seriously, I hope all goes well for you. I have been told any times that the prep is the worst part!!

It seems that in being gone yesterday, which was actually MUCH better than I expected after the 45 minutes of sleep due to cough, nightmares, bathroom breaks, etc. overnight, then my nap while little DS crashed, and Fridays errand running: my house has become a disaster zone!?!? Not sure how that happened when No one was here: did the cat have an open house party? Just so frustrating. Of course, there is another TON of laundry.....I am not sure what is going on in the hamper, but there is serious multiplication of laundry going on. I'm afraid to research!

I do think groceries are in hand and I am ok not going there today, so I may run to BJs for some coupon items since oday is last day for said coupons. Plus, it'll be fun to make DS13 go carry items instead of playing VIP hames and yelling into his headset to friends! Got to enjoy the little pleasures in life!! Rotfl

I think I'm in a bit of a "mood" today, so I'd better go before I get in trouble.

Hope the weather works out for everyone. I know we are all looking to July, although at the rare we are going, it'll probably still be cold and snowing!!!
