The weekend grind ~ 11/2-11/3 2013

Hi everyone!

It's a late start on this but we were up bright and early finishing the last of the storm damage..

We have all the tree bagged up and/or cut up into firewood with the exception of the big huge trunk... DH measured the tree.. it was a little under 45' long.. yes, that big.. and the circumference at the base was 92"... and about 12 feet off the ground but on our cars!!! The kids suggested DH find someone to make us a log plume (sp) for splash mountain to keep in our yard.. LOL Now, we are waiting for our friend who does construction to come check the house one more time but DH nor one other contractor found no house damage. Yay!! So, now to see what is paying for our cars.. auto or homeowners or what... that should be Monday.. then we will figure out what we have to do from there...



So, for the rest of the weekend my list is small..

Ya for no house damage. Hopefully the cars get enough back to replace them/fix damage.

We are having a doozy of a wind storm. Trees and power lines are down.

We are trying to get out of town to see the Return of the Dinosaurs exhibit at the Tacoma dome. Hopefully its worth the money.

The lunch and then a trip to the mall. I ripped my good jeans. So need new ones.

Stop at store for snackage just in case we come home to no power.

So sorry to hear about your tree. I lived through the tree falling when it fell on the pool. I'm glad no one was hurt. Just stopped by here to see how everyone was doing. been busy with work, and kids activities.

Just a quick check in to see what was new. Good to see Reddy had a post a couple days ago, haven't seen her around the boards much! Happy Sunday, all!
