The week BEFORE Christmas?

How crowded is the week before Christmas? (say the 18th up until Christmas) I expect the 24th and 25th to be chaos...but do you think we will get a couple of days without long waits before Christmas?????

I would love to know this information as well. We are taking dd for her 5th birthday on the 20th and our trip is planned for the 18th through the 28th. We were kinda hoping to get a day or two of not overwhelming crowds. Either way we will be at Disney so life will be good, but nice to get a feel for what to expect.

we were there in 07 and left on the 20th the crowds were markedly up from earlier in the week I would say they will be high. We are going the 9- 19 th this yr (kids get out for Christmas break earlier that most schools but that is another thread) We are thinking because the 19th is a Sat that is when the crowds will come- good luck though it is a wonderful time to be there anyway!

I am going there the same dates.Usually it is a bit less crowded than the 2 prior weeks up until the 19th where it gets insane. So far the crowd cal. has jacked up its numbers( it was mostly 3/4) now it it 5's. Hopefully it will not be that bad. If I see the numbers hit 8/9 I am going to cancel my trip. I am not doing those crowds again.

We were there last Christmas the 19th-28th. The crowds were definitely lower those first few days. Then around the 23rd they began to increase.

We went to MK on Christmas Eve morning and it was quite busy. We left around lunchtime and spent the rest of the day having a nice Christmas Eve at SSR.

We didn't go to any parks on Christmas Day, again had a nice relaxing day at SSR (even rented a surrey bike-so fun!) then had dinner at Chef Mickey's.

On the 26th we went to MK first thing in the morning and it was LOOOOOW crowds. We walked on several Fantasyland attractions, even stayed on the teacups 4 times in a row because no one was in line! It began to pick up after lunch though.

Have a great time, it was one of our BEST trips ever!!

Oh... it is horribly crowded and you wouldn't like it at all. JK Don't want this secret to get out there. )

We were there last year during that week and the crowds were minimal and the weather was perfect. Our birthdays are that week so we hope to return again this year.
