How is that week for crowds? I will find out soon enough as I am doing that this year, but a heads-up would be nice.

Our experience is from '04, we were at BWV from December 19th through the 23rd, and each day there were lots more people! However, from BWV you could see the practice special fireworks planned for New Years Eve, (maybe Christmas) and just the practice runs were special, so we would have loved to stay longer!

We have never been in a high crowds time, so I can't compare, but we did everything we wanted to do during that time...including a "wait in line" Candlelight Processional. We did mini-golf over by Blizzard Beach one night, that wasn't terribly crowded at all. We did the cute Winter one.

That was the year of the "before Christmas" monster snow in Dayton! What a mess going home that December 23rd!

I'm interested as well. We'll be there the 13th through the 22nd. :santa:
Thanks, Bobbi for your input.

Were going Dec 15th - 22nd and this will be the first trip with my parents coming along (they want to see why we go so many times). I was wondering how the crowds will be and the weather too. We usually go in late March so this will be our first x-mas trip!:santa:

We were there last year from Dec. 17 to 22. It became much more crowded as each day passed. The MK on the morning of the 22nd was quite crowded so we gave up and got on the road back home.

Even though the crowds were heavier than we are used to, we had a great time and would love to return next year for that same week. We would have gone back this year but the kids go to school thru Dec. 21st and then break until Jan. 9th. We will be there for New Years so I guess that we will get to see some serious crowds during that trip!!

I was there at the same time in 04 and I remember the drive home from the airport in St. Louis, heavy snow. It was quite warm in Flordia though.
