So yesterday it was 90 degrees out. Very unusual for this time of year since the average is in the 60s but I loved it. It has been a long winter. Well today, at 11am, it is 32 degrees. Ugh I hate it here.

Here in PA we wake up to the furnace running, shut it off for the day and go to work. Get out of work and run the AC in the car home. Get home to 80° in the house and kick the AC on. Turn AC off as the sun goes down, furnace back on (set low) to sleep.
And I don't doubt pretty soon I'll be mowing one Saturday and the work week to follow I'll have to clear some snow from the driveway to go to work.
Few years ago I was mowing the day after Christmas in 60° because the snow dumped in October and November before all the leaves could be cleaned up.
We’re in the middle of a major snowstorm that’s predicted to last two or three days. Our snow was just about all gone, and now we’re starting over! We had plenty of warning so we’ve got supplies. Schools, highways and businesses are closed. We’re just hunkering down and hopefully power will remain on. We’re in the Canadian prairies but this is a Colorado Low.

No not that cold. But it will be below freezing over the long weekend which is good to help with the melt/flooding concerns.
And it takes a lot to close down Winnipeg!
I remember Easter 1976. It was the hottest day of the year in the Philly/South Jersey area at 94F. The few days before were also abnormally hot. I think the hot spell finally broke on Monday afternoon with a thunderstorm.

That is a lot. Our system here is simpler: Winter, Sprinter, Summer and Fallter. 7 months of winter and 5 months of rough sledding. It was+19C (high 60's F) last Friday, leading into a weekend low of -9C (15 F) and it hasn't been back up above freezing so far yet this weak. We're getting the very mild edge of the weather system that's bombarding southern Manitoba right now. Only about 2" of snow but the wind is absolutely bitter.
Batten down the hatches my Winnipeg friends - Godspeed!
Well, that's not a big deal here. BUT ... enjoy the rest of your SNOW DAY!!! Most of our "snow days" were for wind chills under -40 F below zero. It's too cold to go out and play.

I’m on the Eastern side of ND so we didn’t get too much compared to the Western side but we did get around 13” in about 10 hours. It’s kind of a slushy mess out there today.
