Our trip is over:sad1:, but it was great and we all had fun and ate and ate and ate:rotfl2: We were on the standard dining plan (which we love:cloud9:) and ate at many great places!

Our first day was Epcot and then dinner at Chef Mickey's. For lunch we went to Sunshine Seasons, which was really good, especially the strawberry shortcake for dessert. I think I had the turkey foccacia sand., which was delicious and DH had the rueben, this was a little chewy, but still good. The kids had the first of MANY macaroni and cheese kids meals. (really all that my 7 year old and 5 year old had all week was macaroni and cheese or chicken nuggets:rotfl:)

At dinner we took the monorail to Chef Mickey's and had a fun dinner there. We are not very picky people, so we all found something that looked and tasted good. We love Chef Mickey's and will probably go here every trip.

Ok, so on to day 2! This was MK day and it all started with early BBB stop for DD(3) and DS(7) who loved the pampering! For lunch we went to the kids favorite counter service Cosmic Rays. They just love this place. DH, DS(9), and I all had burgers and fries. We just love the toppings bar and I especially love the mushrooms and onions they offer!! I could eat those alone! The others just had their normal nuggets and fries! Everything was great!

For dinner we took the boat launch to the Grand Floridian to 1900 Park Faire. I have to tell you that the wait before dinner was so chaotic! We were there first, but people lined up in front of us and squeezed their way in and we couldn't even see the opening ceremony, which made me very disappointed. Anyway, the food was just ok. It was probably one of my least favorite buffets. The only saving grace was the strawberry soup!:lovestruc The characters were ok and my DD loved dancing with Prince Charming and my DS (5) fell in love with one of the step sisters:rotfl2: We probably will not go back here again, but I'm glad we tried it.

joining in. We did not like the food at 1900 Park too but we did have a great character experience.

We are thinking of doing the same thing on our Epcot day. How long did it take to get on the monorail and arrive at Chef Mickey's? Just want to make sure we aren't late for our ADR. Thanks!!
