The "we got there eventually - without bubble wrap" Trip Report day 6

Me- Loves Disney, Shopping and Pompey

DH- Loves Pompey, weather and the sunshine state

Jordan 16- Not allowed to play football whenever we are off to Florida

Julian 14- Takes everything in his stride

Thursday 28th August


Up early today and headed over to Ponderosa for breakfast, then walgreens to pick up some headche tablets for pete

Decided to go to Islands of adventure today and we couldnt believe how empty it was we normally buy the express pass,but decided not too so glad we didnt as it would have been a waste of money as the wait times were so short

first ride Hulk the boys are thrilled when they see the wait time, they rode quite a few times

next is the Bilgebats and everyone is given a good denching.
We ride Dudley do rights rip saw falls,and jurraic park

we spend some time looking a the building works for the new harry potter land

the boys ride fire and ice, pete and I collect an eskimo pie and chill for a bit, we love people watching

we queue for Poisdens fury when kieran decides he needs the loo so we pop into Mythos (Made a note we must here next trip) and queue again at least it was nice and cool as it was soo hot today.
Wemade our way around to suezz landing and did a little bit of shopping the boys bought some huge rice krispy cake.

we rode most of the rides here then headed out to city walk we had dinner at Bubba Gump shrimp this was dissapointing this time very expensive for not great food we dont think we will go back again(camera ran out of batteries so I dont have any more pictures)

after dinner we all crashed back at the hotel

Tomorrow an air boat ride and a Dis meet

This park has never been that busy whilst we've been, your pics make me want to be there. Were not going back until October 2010 so i'm hoping that Harry Potter should be all up and running by then

We have enjoyed 2 meals in Mtyhos and would recommend it.

Great day.I like IOA,especially love Seuss Landing-i could go on them kids rides all day .We were thinking about trying Bubba Gumps next year but i have heard some not so great reviews of that place latley .I think we will be giving it a miss now.Can't wait for Harry Potter .x.

Lovely report again. We love IoA too and especially like getting soaked in the summer (in the winter even if it is hot the water is very cold and I wouldn't recommend it).

Mythos is superb, you should def eat there next time, I can highly recommend the buffalo chicken wrap.........
