The "we can go on and on about baseball" Thread

pshhhhhhhh! xD
boston is the sexxxxxx. it's prettyful. (;
haha, i won't :') you should see me and sara when we get going LOL, a mod once came on and told us to cool it a bit HAHAHAHA

I love the city of Boston, actually going to look at colleges there. I swear though I would be putting my life at risk because I can get mean about the Red Sox (so if I do to you please try not to take too much offense to it)

I don't mind! it's all in the name of fun (:
I think we should make a thread rule on here not to take any comments to heart (:
and that's awesome! I'm thinking of going to university in Boston, I'm looking at harvard and northeastern. (:

So the title of this thread MIGHT be the story of my life:rolleyes1 People tell me I care too much about baseball all the time, o well.

I am a huge Yankees fan, Brett Gardner is my future husband:lovestruc, my dream job (which I WILL have someday) is to be the Yankees' on field reporter (my friends think Ill end up as MLB commissioner though hahaha), I have a blog about baseball, I consider three of the greatest days of my life to be the day of Aaron Boone's famed homer, Nov. 4 2009 (aka the day 27 was won!), and the Nov 6 2009 (aka 2009 championship parade!), I speant some of my vacation in Dec stalking Dere Jeter's new mansion and checking out Steinbrenner field (where I got pics of Hank Steinbrenner!), go to a Yankee game for my birthday every year, and the list could probably go on for longer but Ill stop now. Ok, so maybe I need to get out more...

ANOTHER YANKEE FAN! Yeaaaaaaaah! Party!

I loooooooooove the New York Yankees <3 Derek Jeter, Robinson Cano, Nick Swisher, Mark Teixeira, Jorge Posada, Curtis Granderson, Mariano Rivera, and Alex Rodriguez are my boys (of course, I probably just named the whole team xD)

WE GET AT IT.
Hahahahahaa, it's so much fun(:
In the little Yankees/Red Sox competition, the Yankees won last year (because, ya know, they actually got into the play offs and weren't playin' gold in october like the soxxies (; )

I CAN'T WAIT FOR TWENTY-EIGHT
(it rhymes. WE'RE WINNING.)

Brett Gardner, Boone Logan, Russel Martin, CC Sabathia, Phill Hughes, AJ Burnett, David Robertson, Joba Chamberlain, Francisco Cervelli, Rafeal Soriano, Sergio Mitre..the list goes on, that was far from the whole team;) Then of course all of the minor leagers like Colin Curtis, Austin Romaine, Jesus Montero, Bartolo Colon, Edwardo Nunez, Manny Bertolos, Mark Prior...Ok, I SWEAR i have a life:rolleyes1

Touring Northeastern tomorrow:cool1: Then BC, that's probably my top choice school.

And yes certainly all in the name of fun! What would the Yankee-Red Sox rivalry be without some good ribbing and fun!

HOW COULD I FORGET SABATHIA? <3
And when I said "the whole team" I meant the players that actually played (; Sure Chamberlain and Burnett get some play time, as well as Gardner. But Logan, Matrin, Cervelli... they never get any field time.

Gardner gets some play time? Do not talk about my boy like that! He is one of the starting outfielders, he plays 140+ games a year! And had the third highest batting average on the team last year!

'When people think the only player you know is Jacoby Ellsbury because he's hot.'

I THINK I JUST MET A NEW BEST FRIEND ON TUMBLR.
i click on the tag 'jacoby ellsbury' and that's what comes up! ye boi.

psh. PISH POSHHH

kevin youkilis, jacoby ellsbury, dustin pedroia, adrian gonzalez, carl crawford, jonathan papelbon, marco scutaro, bobby jenks, john henry (owner), terry francona (manager), felix doubront, daniel nava, daniel bard, ryan kalish, mike cameron, john lackey, clay buchholz, jon lester, jed lowrie, danny reyes, DAVID ORTIIIIZ, larry lucchino (president), josh beckett, jarrod saltalamacchia (salty.) hideki okajima, dice-k.

hmmmmm, that's all i can think of right now.

Chiiiiiiiiiillax.

Gardner isn't one of the more popular players. Not EVERYONE knows him unless you're a true fan. It's not like when you say "Derek Jeter" or "David Ortiz" (yes, I know. Red Sox) people all know who they are, whether they like the team or not. Brett Gardner just isn't one of those people, yet.

But you said he rarely plays, which isn't true;)

Most promising left/center fielder in AL East if not most of AL

oh. i've never heard of him.

but damn girl. jacoby ellsbury plays left/centre field. YOU JUST CAN'T SAY THAT WHAT'S HIS FACE IS THE MOST PROMISINGGGG because that's mean :rotfl:

EVEN IF JACOBY DID ONLY PLAY 17 GAMES LAST SEASON. PFF
xD

Its always good to know your rivalrys, you should now Gardner because he's becoming one of the most consistant Yankees. Jacoby is injury prone, I think Gardy has the most potential because he's still very fairly young and keeps getting better year after year. And most Sox fans would bash me for not saying Crawford.

who is brett gardner?

LOL
seriously. who is he?

xD

But you said he rarely plays, which isn't true;)

You right, you right.

But Gardner is nowhere near the top of the list of the Yankees. He's still pretty new, and he has a lot of potential, but he needs to keep working it (:

I love Gardner, really I do... but he's not like the best player I've ever seen in my life. He is really good, but I don't know if he's that much better than Jacoby... Jacoby is a beast on the field (eimear is gonna love me for stickin' up for her man (; )

Numbers do not lie and if you look at the numbers for the 2010 season Brett was one of best Yankees. Jacoby is good but I think when all is said and done Brett will be better. Jacoby had his one big season (like Brett I guess) but since then he has had injuries which is never a good sign.

he got steamrollered by beltreeeeee

literally

my friend amy thought that beltre was so rude not to ask if he was ok LOL

oh and I just saw a video from spring training and jacoby was there and he kept turning around and I was like WOOOO!
but most of the time I couldn't stop thinking about how someone on tumblr had put a picture of the back of jacoby and put a ke$ha gif underneath saying 'turn around boy let me hit that' LOL.

and yes Sara, I appreciate your stick-up-nive-ness. xD

didn't jacoby get 4 stolen bases against the Yankees in one game or something? and he won everyone a free taco xD
I sound like I know nothing about baseball, but I do, I swear xD
