HI- :wave2:

Fairly new to the Dis, been here about 1.5 years. Rarely do I post but I do visit daily and absorb as much information as possible. A little background. I am a Disney Nut. As a child we never went to Disney or any other vacation. As a military family, every vacation we had was spent visiting grandparents in Indiana. So once I started having my own children I was determined they would know Disney and love it. We made our first trip to Disney the week after Thanksgiving 2006 and stayed for 5 magical nights at All Star Movies. We only saw Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom. My parents, myself and my three boys were the guests. We said we would wait two years to go back. Last Spring when the free dining offer came out we couldn't resist. Our second trip, same cast members, came in Sept and this time we stayed at All Star Sports. This trip was not as memorable. I hurt my foot the first day in the parks, kids were cranky because it was hot (even with breaks) and Grandpa was even crankier. He can't appreciate Disney trips that close together :surfweb: He spent most of the time in his room, unless we were at the park...then he annoyed me and my Mom. He has been banned from future Disney vacations for the forseeable future. With everyone so burnt out we said...NO trips to Disney in 08. Nov 09 is our next trip. Time past, wounds heal and by December I was thinking of two years with no Disney. I'm spoiled I can't do it.

So this week I booked Pop Century for November 30-Dec 4. Here are the cast members:

::MinnieMo - AKA Granny, My mother. She is fun to have along on trips and I also lovingly refer to her as moneybags, for obvious reasons. She has the dinero. Sometimes she can be a stick in the mud, because she tires easy but she tries hard to keep up with us.

:tinker: - Me...never grew up, and I hope I never do. You can bet if I ever win the lottery I will take up residence on Disney property somewhere for a good portion of the year. I can be a little grouchy sometimes, but at Disney I am in a whole different world. The cares really do melt away.

:stitch: Age 11 (will be 12 when we travel). He already knows everything, which is great for us. ;) He is by far the most impatient child I have ever met. I think it comes from being first born and being the only child and grandchild for 4 years. He will ride anything and loves Disney, but still needs work to be a more dedicated Disney buff.

:donald: Age 7 (will be 8 when we travel). He is the most hardheaded, stubborn and ornery boy on the planet. He reminds me of Donald when he is angry-red face and all. With an Irish temper, we see that red face often. He will also hold a grudge forever, such as the first ride on our 2006 premier trip was Snow White's Scary Adventure. Who knew it would be "so scary" for a 6 year old. He has never forgiven me. He doesn't care for rides, nothing that goes fast, high or in the dark. Snow White scarred him for life so I usually have to bribe or trick him onto a ride. His favorite thing at Disney is meeting the characters.

pooh: Age 5 (will be 6 when we travel). He being the baby, is the sweetest most well adjusted and loving child. He also does not like rides, just like Donald but he shows tendancies of outgrowing that. He loves the princesses. He is quite the flirt in everyday life and makes no exceptions while at Disney. The only two characters he would speak to on our last trip was Wendy and Cinderella. He thought they were both beautiful.

Our last trip we were on the dining plan and ate many places we probably would not have. Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree Tavern (my personal favorite), Chef Mickeys, and CRT. This time we are also on the dining plan. The ease of using it made it worth it for us and this time we are hoping to try some new restaurants.

I have started some minor planning but of course until I see park hours, etc...I am just in limbo waiting and counting the days.

Off to a great start! Coming along for the ride (I should probably write one for our Apr/May trip) popcorn::
