Are anyone elses kids learning about MJ music now that you're playing it or youtube-ing it? My kids are singing Man in the Mirror, Black or White, They dont care about us, smooth criminal and Bad all the time now!
There is a "full circle" feel to it...

DD13 already knew Thriller, but I played one of my favorites for her, Human Nature, and she decided she really likes that one! Next time we're able to sit down in front of the computer together we're supposed to look up some of the others.

i think MJ has gotten alot of new fans after his death some little kids that live next door are trying to do the dances its funny to see them out in the yard trying to moon wakd

I've always been a huge fan of Michael's and DS(3) has been listening to him since before he was born. His favorites (and he knows ALL the words) are Human Nature and We Are the World. He also likes Smooth Criminal and Billie Jean.

My kids (9 and 7) are saving up to buy (more) Webkinz... so they can name them Mike and MJ

My boys, 10 and 8, love Michael Jackson!

Last year they were watching some "Weird Al Yankovick" videos and they saw his songs "Eat It" and "Fat" and thought they were funny. So I told them they would find the parodies even funnier if they saw what the original was...so I brought out my Michael Jackson DVD and showed them "Beat It" and "Bad"...and then they wanted to see all the videos on the DVD. All they could say was "Wow!".

Then they watched his DVD all the time and loved most of the songs, mostly Thriller and Billie Jean and The Way You Make Me Feel.

They hadn't listened for a while until MJ's death and then they wanted to hear all the songs again. They are still saying "Wow!" lol.

Plus my husband who was never really into MJ, when we are playing the music he walks in the room and says, "Yeah, I guess he was good wasn't he?"

They are also determined to master the Moonwalk, lol.

Oh one more thing, they are also learning to appreciate his slower songs now. When I was playing, "Heal the World" they kept saying, no no put on Thriller. But now they ask for Heal the World too. RIP MJ, we love ya.
