The Wave

We had both buffets during our last visit, in Mar, and, IMHO, both are excellent although different from each other. Both have Eggs Benedict with a twist - the Cowboy at Trail's End was served on pulled pork, the Wave serves theirs with Key Lime Hollandaise. Our next trip is in Dec and we have reservations for both places again.

Never ate at Trail's End, but we really liked the breakfast at The Wave. We got the buffet, while others in our group ordered off the menu, which was a nice option.

I really enjoyed The Wave for breakfast - the buffet had a really nice selection and I especially loved the breakfast potatoes!

We've eaten at both trails end and The Wave for breakfast and definitely prefer The Wave. They don't have as many options as Trails End as its a much smaller buffet, but I find by doing that the food is fresher. Favs of ours included the key lime eggs benedict and the sweet potato pancakes.

If you're interested, here are my most recent reviews on each:

We've done the Wave for breakfast several times. Loved it. Lots of great choices on the buffet, both traditional and a bit more adventurous. Highly recommend it!

Just to note that I've never tried Trails End for breakfast so I can't actually compare the two.

Has anyone ate here for breakfast? How's the buffet?

The Wave is one of favorite places for breakfast, love the buffet! Check out my review with photos-
THE WAVE BREAKFAST REVIEW WITH PHOTOS

We do also like Trails End but prefer The Wave more - The Wave has more "healthier" options than Trails End and a little better quality. Also like the traditional Eggs Benedict over Trails End bbq shredded pork with the eggs benny.

Working on a review for Trails End Breakfast now (just ate there about 2 weeks ago for breakfast). Price wise they are comparable.

And how can I forget, no one, no one on WDW property can come close to the amazing grits that they have at The Wave.:goodvibes:goodvibes

The Eggs Benedict on the buffet at the Wave were soggy when I got them. So I skip the buffet and order them off the menu.
