Has anyone ever tried The Wave for Breakfast? I'm looking for a breakfast the Contemporary (Not Chef Mickey) or the Grand Floridian Cafe, and this one looks interesting.

Any thoughts? :confused3

We LOVED the Wave breakfast buffet when we had it in June. It's nice and quiet and they have a large selection of items. If you compare it to Chef Mickey's, it's much more quiet, but I don't think the food selection was any less. I really think the quality of the food was very good. If they don't offer the buffet (since it was being tested), I am sure their regular menu has many of the things they had at the buffet, but if the buffet is an option, it is highly recommended.

I have breakfast booked there for my next trip, I'm looking foward to it.

Its my favorite place for breakfast. It's quiet and the offerings are a bit more healthy but plentiful. The buffet is still being offered.

We have eaten all 3 meals many times at the Wave. Consistently good food and great service. We really love it. We've also had breakfast & lunch several times at the GFC. I love the french toast and lobster eggs benedict. My DBF is less enamored of the food at GFC. The service is fine, but has never seemed as friendly as the Wave.

I've had breakfast twice there and was very pleased with the food, well the breakfast potatoes were just ok. The bacon and cheese grits were fantastic!!

Is it hard to get an ADR? We'll be on the free QSDP in October and are considering this breakfast OOP, but we'd end up with extra CS credits if we do. I wanted to see how we feel when the time comes and maybe do this breakfast on our last day if we're wanting more TS, but will it be hard to get an ADR if I wait until we're down there?

NOTE: This is a new location for a breakfast buffet. The
buffet has significantly increased its variety, and now is
very much worth the visit. At just under $20 per adult, it
is extremely reasonable for a WDW buffet. For breakfast,
it's probably the best-kept dining secret.
It has Mickey
waffles and delicious sweet potato pancakes. They use
local fresh fruit and vegetables. For those with a smaller
appetite, one can do the usual ala carte breakfast menu.

Never had the buffet (it wasn't offered when we stayed at BLT) but the regular breakfast was perfectly ordinary---
