The Wave

I had heard both good and bad reviews abot The Wave. So last night in celebration of Eric Daniels birthday we went to get dessert there. It was a bit upity. It is not the place to take three children under two. My precious twins throught I was putting them to bed. However it is not a bad place. This is a great place for a date night. This is a great place for a few adults to get together and have fun together.

The staff were all wonderful. They were friendly, helpful and caring. I really appreciated them for all of their hard work. We did dessert only. The desserts are a set of three small items and cost $7.99. Personally I would have preferred one big dessert. They were tasty and unique regardless. This is not really the place to go to celebrate a birthday as there is not just a slice of cake on the menu.

So in the end if you are looking for a slice of cake kind of dessert skip this place. If you are looking for a martini bar kind of feel with great staff for an adult dinner out this is definitely your place. The bar menu looked stellar. Hubby is gonna take me back without the kids so I can drink my way through all the tasty drinks.

Thanks for the review. We had to switch our reservations after not being able to add one more person to our existing reservation and The Wave was available so that's where we are going--all adults so it should be fun!

This is actually great to hear (that it's good for adults, not that it wasn't the best for your children of course!)

We're a group of 4 adults going in Sept and we are really looking forward to the Wave. It sounds like it'll be right up our alley.

I am excited to try this too in September for an adults-only dinner. I have read good things and bad about it, and maybe that's why - the atmosphere sounds different from a lot of other Disney restaurants and that wouldn't be for everyone.
