Hi everyone,

I have heard alot of questions about The Wave lately. We ate there on our trip last week and it was the best meal EVER at Disney for us. The food was very well prepared the restaurant is beautiful and the service was wonderful. It feels a bit more upscale without being uncomfortable and the choices were a great break from the usual Disney fare. If you are thinking of trying it I would highly recommend it. We almost canceled as we weren't sure, we were so glad that we didn't. The Wave is a new must for us!:)

That is good to hear - my kids want to try it. We are going in April for DDs band trip and I don't know if we can fit it in then, if not, it is a definate for this summer. Any recommendations on what to order? We will probably do lunch.

Thanks for your review!!!! Actually I'm just making up the list of the adr's I want and i had the wave on there although i was unsure about this choice. Glad to know that its a great restaurant and look forward to trying it. Also, what did you eat and recommend for menu selections??? Thanks!!!

I had the Seasonal Mixed greens for appetizer and the grilled beef tenderloin for my dinner. My husband had the navy bean soup ( he loved it) for appetizer and the linguini with clams and shrimp for his dinner.

For dessert I got the decadent flavors and he had the crispy and crunchy

I agree we gave it a try in September and it was the best place to eat at during our vacation.

I'm so glad to see the good reviews! We have the wave as our dinner ressie our first night there...I was beginning to wonder if I should change it! I'm feeling better about it now! Thx!!:)

I am so glad to hear this as I just switched Kona for dinner at the Wave next month, very excited to give it a try! :cheer2:

So glad to hear a good report. This morning when I made my ADRs Spoodles was not available for most of our stay (they do not know why). I quickly saw we were going to be at MK and asked for The Wave. It looks like there are options for my hubby who eat vegetarian (and fish, but not seafood) and my parents and children.

We dined there last week.

The Wave is a complete atmosphere upgrade from the old Concourse Steakhouse (they are in different locations). When The Wave catches on with others, it will be as hard an ADR as Flying Fish, Spoodles and Kono.

Lunch prices were very reasonable. I can't exactly remember but I think my Reuben sandwich was 12.99. It came with papaya slaw. I also had the roasted tomato soup with a mini brie and provolone grilled cheese sandwich which was 7.99. My dh had the cheeseburger and roasted potatoes. They brought me out a complimentary dessert for my birthday. It was chocolate mousse with peanut brittle, passion fruit panna cotta, creme brulee cheesecake. This is my new fave restaurant.

I keep thinking I know exactly where I want to go on our next trip, but then keep seeing these wonderful reviews for The Wave... I may have to figure out a way to add it in!

This was our best meal too. It was surprised how behaved all the children were without the chicken fingers.. It is a nice break from the park

I'm Vegan and hoping they might have something for me. My husband is a rabid carnivore....:thumbsup2

Thanks for the post and input from all. Made my ADRs for April yesterday and we are eating at the Wave. Now I am really looking forward to it!

This was one of the best meals we had the week we were at Disney... I was amazed at how quiet it was, but I think that when people read more reviews like this it won't be for long... YUMMY!!!
