Has anyone been here yet, or heard reviews of it?? I am thinking about makign ADR's there for our October trip, but I haven't read much about it. The menu on AllEars looks great, but looks can sometimes be deceiving as we have all found on one occasion or another. Also, the restaurant looks really nice- does anyone know how dressed up we would need to be?

I hated it (expected to love it, but it was awful), and have seen a number of negative reviews. A friend who works in culinary at the Contemporary told me she's only heard negative comments, too. To be fair - I have seen the occasional positive review, but the negative seem to outnumber the positive.

I had a lousy server (didn't see much of him), and I hated my lunch choice. It was almost inedible, but since I never saw the waiter I ended up just asking for the check to get out of there. It was the nastiest chicken on a salad I've ever had in my life - I almost wanted to spit it out, but of course couldn't do that!

My glass of wine was good, but it's tough to ruin a glass of liquid poured from a bottle. :rotfl2:

We had lunch there a couple weeks ago with our three teenagers and we all loved it. I had the seared ahi tuna salad and it was very good - the olive toast it was served with was fabulous. Others had grilled chicken sandwich, angus burger, and my memory fails me...

We mixed and matched 2 different dessert plates and loved them all, especially the chocolate mousses.

Our server was great - personable and humorous - and had us laughing with stories about previous diners, including food critics and Disney dignataries.

The restaurant is very beautiful, but you should be fine with theme-park clothing - I would think that only bathing suits would be inappropriate.

I've said it before, and I guess I'm saying it again, if you get crappy food and miserable service, you MUST talk to a manager. These things do not get fixed if we don't let someone know how we feel! To just get the check so you can "get out of there" is not the way to fix something that in your case was obviously "broke"

I know I heard a great review of it on the DIS Unplugged.

I had dinner there 3 days after it opened. We really enjoyed our meal. My filet was perfectly cooked and we loved the desserts. We are going back for our next trip in a month. I would recommend it.

I just made a ressie for The Wave for 6:45 on Halloween night. The menu looks great, at least for us, so I am excited. We are pretty easy to please and like most foods, and if something comes out just plain bad, I'm not afraid to very nicely ask for it to be fixed. I am willing to take my chances withe The Wave! :goodvibes

Mabye they are still working out the kinks on some of their dishes! We are going to try it in December or next summer!
