The Wave v. Kouzzina v. Boma v. Kona

Right now, I have The Wave scheduled for my HS day. Kouzzina is available at the same time - both reservations would be at 6:45. Which would you pick, both for convenience and food? I'm assuming a mid-day break.

On AK day, I have Boma scheduled at 5 PM. Food looks great and we'd like to see AKL, but buffets seem complicated with little ones. Would you keep that? The alternative would be to do AK, head back to hotel at 3ish for R&R, then go at 7:00ish to The Wave or Kona?

I'm excited about free DDP, but it is SO hard to make reservations when you have never been anywhere and don't know what the parks will be like or what your family can handle!

Oh, and we're staying at CSR. We have 2 kids with us, ages 4 and 3. The kids are accustomed to restaurants so we can take them pretty much anywhere.

I have heard mixed reviews of Kouzzina and the menu does nothing for me. The Wave, meanwhile, only seems to get glowing reviews (best meal of the trip type reviews) and the menu is more appealing to me so I'd go with The Wave. We'll be eating there on our next trip and I can't wait.

I would keep Boma for dinner. It's an excellent buffet and it's set up in pods, rather than one long line, so it's a bit easier than a traditional buffet. DH and often took our kids to buffets when they were younger and we found that getting the kids their food and then taking turns ourselves worked very well. Just take your time and enjoy it. Besides, buffets give kids the opportunity to try new foods while still being able to have things they are used to. They are great for getting kids to try new things. Finally, AKL is a destination in itself and you can enjoy the resort a bit afterward. They have a fire pit outside with African storytelling, lots of African artwork to see and, of course, the animals.

All of your possibilities are good ones and you can't go wrong with any of them, but I'd stick with Boma and go with The Wave.

on the exit side of the Park before the parade starts.
I've heard and read good things about both The Wave a
and Boma.
