Hi, I have just been looking at the menus on All Ears.Net and see that there is now a buffet breakfast at The Wave.

I have tried to do a search on here to see if anyone has been and if there are any reviews as I can't find anything.

So... Is there a buffet breakfast at The Wave, and if so, how is it??

Many thanks for any info:thumbsup2

Interesting. Definitely new. Wasn't on the menu when I made my adrs last month. I wonder why there isn't a buffet option for the kids?

There have actually been quite a few posts on the Wave buffet. We thought it was very good. I don't remember about the kids price though. I think one of my kids ordered from the regular menu and the one that did the buffet is actually an adult for dining purposes.

It's been around since at least early this year. We went in April and I'm guessing I made that reservation 4-6 months out.

They had the buffet when we were there in April but I wasn't hungry enough to go with that option. I believe there are some reviews on here but I haven't seen one in awhile.

We just ate there last month and it was incredible! I will post pics in a sec

I had already made and ADR for my trip in January...these pics are making me look even more forward to my trip. :surfweb:

thanks everyone for your replies :thumbsup2 I had tried multiple searches and couldn't find anything - but then I am quite useless at doing that!!:lmao:

Thanks especially to Mickeynicki for posting - those photos are terrific - think this might be somewhere we'll add for our trip to BLT in October - many thanks!!:lovestruc

How important do you think ADR's would be for this in mid February (week before President's Day). Hubby and I aren't usually breakfast people, or well we like breakfast, just not at the hours its traditionally served. I've only booked one breakfast ADR for our trip to Kona Cafe, mostly to get coffee. I can see him enjoying this buffet, but only if it was on a more of a spur of the moment thing when we had a later lunch ADR.

We didnt have reservations in Oct, we just walked in around 9:45-10am and the place was maybe 1/4 full. Its very dark and calm in there and the buffet is set behind a wall so you cannot see it from the dining room

We had a reservation for about 10:30 AM. There were only about 2 other tables of people in the entire restaurant! So if you're willing to go at an off time like that - we called it brunch after some touring in MK - I don't think you will have any problem at all.

I've been there twice and both times it was not crowded at all. Last time, there did seem to be more tables filling around 9am but it is one place that appears to consistently have walk-ins with no problem.

Thanks for posting these pics! Have been wondering about this. We are staying at CR. Your pics convinced. me :)
