We spent a week at the Beach Club this month and for the entire 7 days, no matter how much rinsing or conditioner, I could not get all the shampoo or tangles out of my hair. Normally, I don't need to use conditioner at all and when we moved over to the Hard Rock my hair went back to normal, so I'm thinking it had to be the water.

Anyone else ever have this problem or know what's up? Just looking for advice for our next trip. :jumping1:

I've been traveling to Florida for over 30 years and yes, Florida does have VERY different water than many of us. Those who live there often don't realize the difference but I'm sure we all do! The quality is very lacking but that is simply due to where it originates - not what they do. Yes, it was the water that made your hair feel like that.

Rest assured that it's not just you. All three of us notice it (and dread it as well) whenever we visit WDW. We never feel clean no matter how long a shower we take, and we find the water in the fountains close to undrinkable. It's due to the sulphur present in the water there.

We haven't figured out a way to deal with it in numerous trips down, and now we just simply deal with the fact that we won't feel "clean" until we come back home. Will that stop us from coming? Heck no!!!!!!

:sunny: :flower: stayed at the beach club June 26- june 30th and had no problem...
You do have to use conditioner as they use a ton of chlorine in the pool....

Our water here in Florida is very hard. It is from all the limestone in the ground. We are used to it now but it took several years. The water in Memphis was some of the best in the country and very soft. When we go back home to visit I have to remember to use about 1/2 as much soap, coffee or tea.

I had the same experience with the water at Disney! Does anyone have any shampoo/conditioner reccomendations?
