THE WALLY WORLD heads to DISNEY WORLD!

Flashback scene: May 2005. After 4 days in St. Augustine for a family wedding, our family and my husband's extended family head into the MK parking lot for what promised to be a "magical" day! Our mini van, driven by my f-i-l, followed the rental car of my b-i-l, in a long line of cars. Oh good! We're parking! Oh wait....b-i-l's car is given the last stall in the row, and we are instructed to start the next aisle, in a parking spot a full football field away from them. "But we're WITH THEM! THAT CAR RIGHT THERE! WE'RE TOGETHER!" my f-i-l shouts. The parking attendant points down the aisle and says calmly, "Please sir, you must start the next aisle....follow the cones." "&%*# HIM! This is SO ridiculous! G-dammit! This place is such a pain in the a--!!" Suddenly, a sniffle comes from my then DS 3, who quietly says, "But...Grandpa....it's only Disney World....."

CONSIDER THIS UPCOMING VACATION A MAKE-UP TRIP, only this time, DH and I are DVC members and more prepared to avoid the pitfalls!

Dates of trip: 2/1-2/7
Resort: AKL Grand Villa (2800 sq ft)- accomodating all 10 family members
should be interesting....

Cast of characters:
Me - disney fanatic since age 7
DH- puts up w/ my Disney mania, and was driving force behind DVC join
DS 7- Animal and Stitch fanatic. We joined AKL b/c of him!
DS 4.5 "The Bruiser"- Mickey is his favorite guy in the world
MIL 'Nana'- We'll be celebrating her bday on Wed of our trip- she is BEYOND excited to visit all the parks with her GKs
FIL 'Grandpa Wally'- Wonderful, amazing Dad. A bit on the impatient side.....
BIL- Quiet, reserved, annoyed with my over-Disney-ness
SIL- Nearly as Disney geekish as me, although never been on DIS- she is missing out!

All right! Since I'm the Disney nerd of the bunch....I forced the group to make some Prority Seating confirmations......but I agreed to only one per day to allow for a BIT of spontaneity (with 10 people....should be fun)- so here goes:

Sunday: Hangin' at the AKL! Grocery store run to stock the villa!
SUPER BOWL PARTY! (in our villa)

Monday: Day in Magic Kingdom
Lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern

Tuesday: Day in Epcot
Dinner at Le Cellier (Cheddar cheese soup and pretzel breadsticks, here I come!!)

Wednesday: Day in Magic Kingdom for Nana's birthday!
Birthday dinner at California Grill

Thursday: Hollywood Studios
No priority seating arrangements made.....!

Friday: Day at Animal Kingdom
Dinner at Kona Cafe (Poly)

Saturday: Lunch at Margaritaville on our way to Jacksonville!


This is our first trip on DDP......any suggestions/tips/warnings???
