You can't even watch Once Upon a Time when it airs, and it's owned by Disney. You get a blue screen that says something about international licensing rights.

Unlike your TV at home, the TVs onboard are not connected to "regular" television feeds. Only basic channels are offered.

This made me laugh. We watched an episode on our Hawaii cruise. Of course we had cell service in Hawaii and were able to watch it on google play the next day on our phones. The show is so addictive. I would just record it. You shouldn't see any spoilers on a cruise.
