But there's also the theory that Karen is the Governor's mole, and the Governor somehow still has Karen's son, Noah. We never see him die, or escape Woodbury, so I suppose it's possible. The Gov somehow reaches out to Karen and uses her son to force her to feed the walkers at the fence, and kill whomever she can on the inside. Karen is the only character seen with a flashlight this past episode... But it could be a red herring.

So are you saying the burned body wasn't Karen, but someone else with her bracelet on? It does seem weird that she would be so concerned over Noah and his asthma before, but no mention of him has been made at all since last season's finale.

Is Maggie pregnant? I know she told Glenn that she wasn't. But she's been resting a lot. And she made sure Glenn kept his distance at the fence.

I don't see her intentionally lying, just not her style. Now, she could be pregnant, but isn't aware, even though she thinks she isn't.

I think it was the medic who killed and burned them. Maybe he knew they were sick and could spread the virus ? It makes sense it was the little girl feeding the walkers. But not being tall enough - so not sure. Do u think it's the governor coming back feeding them at the fence knowing it would attract them to hang there and push over the fence ?

I hope the baby isn't sick :(

The pig scenes were disturbing. Made me sad. But I kept thinking they were what was making everyone sick. Made it easier lol

I hope carol doesn't die. I like her a lot. Glenn gets on my nerves. But he is a good fighter.

the people that were inside the prison were exposed to that airborne virus.
they were told to stay away from the others.

maggie was not inside the prison when that happened, but glenn was.

I also think it was an adult feeding the walker, Lizzie isn't tall enough to have dangled the rat like that.

If Karen was a mole, she wouldn't be a very good mole anymore ;). If that is a theory, then who do the think just killed her?

I don't subscribe to the theory of Karen being a mole. I was just pointing it out as one I've discussed with friends/coworkers.

However, if Karen is the mole then she didn't actually die.

Yeah, it'd have to be someone else with her bracelet on.

ever think that mica sits on lizzie's shoulders and holds the flashlight up high..

Thinking more (dumb show, shouldnt make me think so much :-) ), I don't think it could have been Karen feeding walkers, she was in the library with Tyrese in the wee hours, it appeared to be the same time the rats were being fed to the walkers.
If by some chance it's not her that is burned, it would have to be a walker in her place wouldn't it? I don't think a person could go missing in a group that size and no one notice.

But I thought Karen had the flu virus. She was coughing and having trouble walking so the quarentined her. I thought maybe she was killed because she turned. :confused3

I thought after watching the episode that they doused themselves with gasoline and burned themselves. There were bloody footprints in the previous episode. I thought the medic drug Karen outside when she got too sick and he himself was sick so he burned them both knowing their impending doom.

But the blood trail from their two cells weren't footprints. They were smears and streaks, made up of a lot of blood.

We don't know for sure that she had that virus, or a cold, or allergies. I believe she and the other guy were killed because someone thought they might be sick, so they took it upon themselves to stop it before it happened. I don't think she turned, I think they were both murdered before they had a chance to die and turn (if they were indeed sick with that virus).

Good episode...did anyone watch the talking dead after to see a peak at next week??? WOW!!! just WOW!!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Don't tell me, we are watching it tonight!!

I am shocked to come on here and see nothing about last night's episode. Who does everyone think is the killer?

I didn't quite get the whole thing with Carol not wanting Rick to know that she was teaching the kids to defend themselves, and not wanting Carl to tell. Because the parents would find out? I would think the parents already realize what kind of world they live in, and would understand. If not, too bad.

Unless, part of me thinks this whole thing was being played up because Lizzie and Myca . . . were they the ones feeding the walkers at the fence? Are they the ones who killed Karen and David? It seems unbelievable, but the reason I am thinking that is because when they were at the fence and Carol said, "You're weak", Myca said, "No, she's just messed up"... so I could see them feeding "Nick" and the others at the fence, not thinking of them as the enemy. But then after being called weak, I could see Lizzie thinking that "These infected people killed my dad" and then thinking, "Hey Carol, I can use a knife just like you showed me" making Carol feel guilty for doing such a thing.

The only other person I thought could be the killer would be Bob the alkie, but he really wasn't very visible in this show. Though he does seem a little shady.

Oh, also... Caleb, the doctor.

David and Karen were infected first; they were the ones, at the beginning of the first episode, killing walkers at the fence. So now that most of the "main" characters were at the fence, are they all going to get infected too?

I don't think it is the girls feeding the walkers just because that's too obvious. You might be able to explain away the angle of the flashlight, the dangling rat, etc. but I think the way the girls were talking about the walkers as still retaining some humanity must have come from an adult. All of the known adults treat them as monsters, so I'm thinking there's someone among the newcomers who - perhaps because they were so sheltered within Woodbury - hasn't really given up on the idea that the walkers are ill people rather than the walking dead.

I understood Carol's position completely. This kinder, gentler Rick is an unknown quantity to the rest of his group in a lot of ways and has been very outspoken about letting the kids, Carl in particular, be kids. She had every reason to think he'd put an end to her lessons if he knew. And she's obsessed. She couldn't protect her daughter so her life in the prison has become all about protecting all the other children in their group.

I think Lizzie is very possibly the one who killed Karen and David. She had the knife, she seems more than a little disturbed, and she's grieving the loss of her father. She may have felt, in the irrational way of a scared child, that quarantine meant the same thing could happen again. After all, Phineas left Carol's class because he was ill and no one kept a close enough eye on him to prevent what happened in D block...

I don't think it would be Bob or Caleb, because both would have enough medical knowledge to understand that even a very virulent epidemic leaves more survivors than casualties. Both would certainly be familiar with the Spanish flu pandemic in the WWI era, which was a worst-case scenario in many ways and had a mortality rate of around 10%. So I don't think they'd go straight from someone showing symptoms to thinking about execution and decontamination; a medical professional would take the quarantine-and-observe route first, I think. Particularly since true isolation is so difficult in the close confines of the prison - odds are most of the survivors were or will be exposed, so it would be valuable to know more about the illness to perhaps find a way to reduce the mortality rate.

No I wouldn't dare...lol...that is why I only said WOW! I like watching talking dead...the cast on it last night was a fun cast....you will enjoy it :)

My DH thinks its the medic that was feeding them, I think its strange we didn't see him this episode

I think Bob's the killer, there's just something "off" about that guy. He was standing there when they were talking about the flu, and then he just disappeared.

I have no idea who the walker feeder is. I agree with a PP, Lizzie seems too obvious. I think it's someone with more sinister motives.
