The walking dead amc #2

I love the #letitgoat from talking dead.
I made it, thanks to a wide awake baby. So tired, but I made it. And i decided I'm glad I had that episode to calm me down from last week a little. Next week should be back to high intensity!

I managed to stay awake also. I didn't love the episode. Still need to watch Talking Dead today.

I couldn't keep my eyes open. I will have to watch it On Demand tonight with my hubby.

I liked the episode, but at others have said, it would have been so much better either before or after last weeks episode was resolved. Too bad because it was a really good episode, just the wrong time. Everyone wants resolution to last weeks episode.

He was on Drew Carey, I looked it up! He was Drews brother.

I enjoyed it. It was nice to see how Morgan went from raving to zen. It seems more realistic that it took an expert to bring Morgan back from the edge. I just really wonder if Morgan is making a mistake thinking he could be that expert for someone else. I'll be interested to see how things resolve with the wolf he's got locked up.
I didn't expect any resolution for last weeks episode, so I wasn't surprised or disappointed by that. I'm doubtful we'll get any resolution of Glenn's story this week either, we might be lucky if we get resolution by the mid-season finale. I hope so. But, I could see them holding off on any "reunion" (if we get one) until after the break.

I loved the episode! John Carroll Lynch was amazing! And, the goat.. lol.. my daughter's name is Tabitha! #letitgoat

Was on a plane during the show last night so I got home at midnight, went to bed and got up early and watched. Very tired and kinda disappointed in the epi. It was ALL Morgan. Boo!!!!!

I thought it was a very good episode and had no problem with it placement. It was interesting that they did say on the Talking Dead it was the last episode shot for this part of the season - 1,2,3,5,6,7,8 and then this one.

Great placement as it keeps the conversation about Glenn in the forefront.

I didn't love the episode, but it was nice to get a little backstory for Morgan. So sad it ended that way for Eastman. He was great though.

I have no idea what Morgan is thinking keeping that Wolf alive. Eastman was a Forensic Psychiatrist and knew what he was doing. He knew how to read people and how to work them. Morgan is not going to change this guy and I have no doubt people are going to die yet again because of his decision. Ugh.

I think Morgan thinks he can change this guy. Eastman took Morgan from a crazy killing lunatic to a kind "zen" person. Morgan was very much like the wolf he has locked up. Morgan tried to kill eastman and anyone else, alive or dead. I think Morgan thinks he can change this wolf. Even though we all know it will end much differently!

I enjoyed it after the last couple weeks of high intensity shows. I like Morgan, always have, and it was nice to see his journey. I think the others will pay for his no-killing others mindset though. You can't trust these Wolves to just run away and not come back. I liked Eastman and sad that we only got one episode of him. His character could've been good for the group and balanced Rick a little but I guess that's Morgan's job. Good season!!! I am enjoying every episode so far!

Great first the Glen cliffhanger (if that is what it really was???) and now they are stringing us along for another week with no resolution. I guess they must love all the buzz they created but I have to say I'm disappointed. Seems like a cheap soap opera trick.

Liked the episode, hated the timing.

I think the main reason Morgan went Clear crazy is because he couldn't bring himself to kill his Zombie wife when he had the chance & that decision killed his son.

So, now he lets the Wolf live and it is going to get people killed. The one preview showed Maggie getting ready to head out, so probably going to look for Glenn, but I don't know if it was for next week's episode or just a show preview?

I also think it will turn out badly that Morgan is letting the wolf live. Morgan was not a bad person before everything went to hell. I'm betting this wolf guy was always bad and will never be able to be rehabilitated the way Eastman was able to rehabilitate Morgan. Not even Eastman would have been able to. I get what Eastman was saying about only finding peace after he chose not to kill anything, but I think in this world sometimes you just have to.

Just back from WDW so haven't had an opportunity to comment here on the Glenn episode. Haven't had a chance to watch yesterday's Morgan episode so I'll hold off on that one for now.

One thing I recently read said we won't know Glenn's fate until around episode 7. Two more weeks if that's true! Ugh!

I'm telling you....Enid has Judith. And Enid is running with the Wolves. Rick pulling that jar out of the dead wolf's pocket just cements it for me. Why else would the guy have a jar of baby food???

I interpreted Rick finding the baby food on the guy he just shot as a way for Rick to pause and have some remorse, which he seems to have lost lately. Rick finds the jar, probably makes him think of Judith and now he's thinking he just shot a father who has a baby out there somewhere. But then we see Rick go back to the same hardened survivor he now is when he puts those bullets through the side of the RV.

***COMIC INFO BELOW***

We know the show doesn't follow the comics exclusively, but in the comics, Glenn is already dead by this point. A lot of avid comic readers have labeled Glenn as a goner for some time now, and assumed he had been kept around this long on the show just due to his popularity. So I was not surprised when it appeared Glenn had been killed. BUT! I've been reading that Jesus has been spotted filming on set and it's suspected that he will be introduced on the show in the very near future. I've been reading some speculation from comic readers that they think Jesus will come across Nicholas and Glenn and somehow will manage to save Glenn. If this ends up being the case, it might answer how Nicholas got shot without having any bullets left - perhaps Jesus was firing rounds at the walkers and inadvertently shot Nicholas. Or perhaps the blood we see spattered on Glenn was walker blood from Jesus shooting them. All speculation, but will be interesting to see if Jesus plays any part in this!

I liked the episode. Like others have said the timing could have been better, but I think it was well done and kept my interest. Much better than some of the other non plot driving episodes (erhmmm Beth/Darly episode I'm looking at you). I also thought it was more of a sad episode than anything else. After it was over, I didn't feel "peace" just sadness about both Morgan and Eastman's losses.

I'll be interested to see how things resolve with the wolf he's got locked up.

It almost seemed to me that he's realizing that not everyone can be changed. It will indeed be interesting to see how it plays out.
