If it really is true, then they handled this character's death differof hungry zombiesy than they've written any other main character's death. This character really didn't have a full-circle character arc & didn't have a final "moment," if that makes sense. Other main characters who have died have had more of an episode that's kinda been about them... some final profound words/thoughts, even if we didn't realize it was at the time.
I'm hoping that the other dude fell on our main character & is kind of acting like a shield.
Also, I thought of this during "The Talking Dead" - Remember in the 2nd episode of the first season (which was titled "Guts") when this main character called Rick the same thing the character called Rick tonight? I guess that could be considered a "full circle" moment. Also 2 other similar things happened in both episodes.
But, this main character wasn't included in tonight's "In Memoriam" section of "The Talking Dead," & Scott Gimple's statement was, of course purposefully ambiguous.
I also liked the character's throwback line to Hershel.
