The walking dead amc #2

I think Daryl has Beth and she is traumatized. Maybe Carol and Morgan are holding her up? I had heard that episode 4 was going to be about Beth, so I think we will find out what happened to her since she was taken by the people in the black car.

I would think if it was Beth and she needed holding up, Daryl would be doing it. I wish we had some idea, of where the heck they were in relation to the city.

In the sneak peak Beth was in the hospital and at one point seemed to be escaping on her own. Maybe next week's episode will show what she went through while separated from Daryl in flashback, and Daryl and Carol found her after she got away?

That thought went through my mind also. In the preview, it shows her looking at her hospital room door, someone is getting ready to come through it. Could be Daryl!?!?!?!

Why do you think they are in Atlanta?

I had read that somewhere that Gimple had acknowledged that. And you could tell when she was looking out the window that she was in the city, and we know they never went that far from where they started when they went back to Rick and Carls town last year looking for guns.

Could be totally wrong, but she was in a city somewhere. I feel if it is Beth, and that was Daryl coming in the hospital room, that they are getting too predictable. We could tell Bob was bit, and we figured out the priests secret before he told them, it would be nice if they could still surprise us (although killing Gareth last night completely shocked me!).

Loved, loved, loved last nights episode. I'm so glad that the group didn't keep any of the termites alive (finally, LOL). And of course, I loved that Rick used the red-handled sword to kill Gareth and that Michonne got the Katana back :thumbsup2

The tainted meat scene was fun, although totally irrelevant based on the later part of the episode ;) I had a feeling since Carl and the others at church were just sitting in the room that it was all a set up to get the termites inside the building where they could be contained. Especially since the group knew they were being watched and just marched out the front door in open view.

Yep, the only bad part was that the group is separated again. My bet for next week is we take a time jump back to when Daryl and Carol followed the car and we get the story of them getting Beth back (and that is who is in the woods with Daryl). The irony being that they arrived back shortly after Maggie leaves with the other group (again, just missing her sister).

There was plenty of time for Daryl and Carol to get Beth if the location she was kept was not too far away (which I'm assuming it isn't because of the car cruising around that area still). They were gone one full day so plenty of time for that rescue to happen.

As far as Darryl's "come on out", I think there's three possibilities:

1. Morgan. Darryl and Carol don't know who he is, but I can see it playing out differently than we may think. We know how cautious and "combat ready" Morgan is. I can see him running into Darryl and Carol, and taking Carol "hostage" at gun point and making Darryl lead him to their camp. Another reason why they may have been approaching the church through the bushes. Or even vice versa - Carol holding Morgan (or a stranger) hostage at gun point for whatever reason.

2. Beth. I also though they could be showing the hospital stuff in flashback.

3. *POTENTIAL SPOILER** Noah. I read an article before the season about a new guy cast for this season that will be playing a character named Noah. Not sure if he was in the comics. Another forum says they heard Noah is someone who was locked in the same hospital with Beth. It would make sense if they came across Noah first who gave them information leading to Beth.

Hopefully we find out next week and it's not an all Beth episode!

I do not think it was Morgan at the end. I think it was someone Beth was with at the hospital, a totally new character that tried to help them save her. You can tell from Daryl's face that something bad went down. Beth and Carol are in trouble. I feel like one is dead (Beth) and the other one, Daryl needs their help to rescue (Carol).

Quick question... anyone remember what happened with Tara's sister Lilly that had the relationship with the Governor? I know her kid died, but the last I remember seeing her was when she was killed the Governor in the prison when all heck was breaking loose. I don't recall seeing her killed. Is she dead?

i seem to remember her going down under a bunch of Zombies, right around the same time as the Gov died, Tara was watching her die.

Yup, you are right. She was taken down by walkers in the field outside the prison. She showed up, holding her daughter, who had been bit. Tara makes mention of it when she meets up with Glenn. About how her sister wasn't supposed to be there.

I am believing that the Beth storyline is current and not a flashback. She was taken by a car that had a medical cross on the back and when she looks out the window, you can tell that the ZA has started. I think they are taking people and using them for medical experiments. Looking for a cure.

I think what we mean by flashback is that it COULD be Darryl and Carol with Beth coming through the bushes, and then we learn of her time just before that in the hospital through flashback rather than current time as its happening.

I thought last night's episode was predictable. I figured Bob was bit & they played it out similar to Dale in the comics. I also figured Gareth & co would sneak into church as they left & that Rick's group would come right back (although they took their time). Rick was pretty brutal though, which is why I think Glen & Maggie were ready to leave.
I also wasn't crazy that they are split up again though.
My guess is that Daryl was talking to Beth & another person from the hospital. I don't think Carol came back with them. Remember she was trying to leave in the 1st place.
Next week's episode will show all of Beth's time while she was separated from Daryl as well as how Daryl finds her. That's an interesting thought about her being immune to zombie disease. She looked pretty beaten up so I wonder how she got into that state.
I don't think Morgan will show yet.
The "A" on the church was out on there by Gareth w/Bob's blood b/c Rick's group was in train car A in Terminus.

And if you listen closely, Tara also refers to Megyn as "my nephew" in that scene for some reason. Just a blooper they didn't fix, I guess. :confused3

Emily Kinney is going to be on Talking Dead next week, which means she's likely still alive at the end of next week's episode. Talking Dead usually teases a "surprise cast member" for a show that's going to follow an episode where a character dies (like last night's show with Andrew J. West), but they didn't do that for next week's show. So I'm guessing she survives this episode coming up.

I think Beth may die in the mid-season finale. I think they will try to kill one of the main group off, and it makes sense to kill her. she has kind of a weak story line and has for a while. She is usually in the background or a helper. Nothing to back this theory up, just a guess.

But then who will watch the baby and sing, "The Parting Glass"??? :rotfl2:

Tyrese :lmao:!
Although, I am in the minority, but I like it when she sings. Except when its in a funeral home, at night, and they are trying to hide.
