The walking dead amc #2

Gabriel went to the school b/c he had to see for himself that the Terminus guys were horrible enough for Rick's group to kill them so viciously. He said that now he understands why they did it after seeing Bob's leg.
Maybe Beth thought she had back up now & just wanted to hurt Dawn w/o killing her. She probably thought Dawn couldn't hurt her back now that her gang is there. I thought both Beth & Carol would die. Just Beth was predicable.

Oh geez, Emily Kinney crying on TTD, eek, now I'm sad.

I wasn't sad till Maggie broke down:worried::worried:

I'm worried that this will derail Maggie and she will get killed, or get glen killed from trying to protect her.

I do love Ricks progression on the you mess up, your dead.
I do love Rick at the end saying you can stay or you can escape Hospital/Prison and join us.

I didn't care for the Beth scissor thing either. They could have done that scene much better. Nor did I care for the church scene. About the only thing I liked was the opening with Rick and the guard. Did anyone catch the re-use of the "You can't go back Bob." line. I feel like it might be foreshadowing Rick's loss of humanity and progression into a Gareth like character during the next season.

I felt like Beth intended to stab dawn in the throat and just missed the mark. When it first happened that's what I thought then they show the scissors stuck in Dawns vest.

I didn't love this one. Predictable, but still not much sense. Unless Beth attacked Dawn so that she would kill her and thereby release Noah?? I dont know. Didint love the hospital crew as the "big bad" of the season so far.

Beth was dead weight. No great loss AFAIC.

I'm so annoyed by the writing at this point. They made a huge deal about how Beth and Daryl got close last season and how he made her stronger/she helped him get over some issues. Twice the man went racing after the car that took her, and they don't even get a conversation before she's killed? In the premiere Daryl told Maggie that Beth was alive, but she didn't seem to hear him or care until the group got back to the church? And why on earth was Sasha going to shoot that walker for the cop and bring attention to where they were hiding with the gun shots?

I know the writers are big on writing story arcs so we care about characters before they are killed, but the whole Beth story line was really unsatisfying. I admit that I was interested to see if she and Daryl would get together romantically, but I was equally interested in seeing their friendship play out. I know this is an action/zombie apocalypse show, but often the character interactions have been too rushed.

What about the poor, old bearded man in the hospital? He didn't show up when the exchange was made nor when shots were fired. I would suspect he'd like to leave.

So, a handful of my friends on Facebook just couldn't help themselves & talked about the death by name before I was able to watch the show.

...I am seriously tempted on making a post, tagging them all & naming every single major character in the comic series that has kicked the bucket.

How long until you watched? I asked, because I have a friend that doesn't watch things until two days later and expects everyone to keep quiet.

As far as I am concerned, you get 24 hours. Then it is your responsibility to stay off the computer and not read anything by mistake;)

Most of the posts went up immediately after the show was over. And the rest were up by Monday morning.
Also, the Walking Dead page posted the following image before the west coast showing with the title "RIP Beth"

Since I'm on the west coast, I have learned the hard way to stay off of Facebook prior to watching :rotfl2: I've had a few episodes spoiled for me that way too before I learned ;)

I just found reruns on regular broadcast television. This should be interesting:-)

Met Norman Reedus and Michael Rooker at Walker Stalker in NJ this weekend. They are super-nice! :)

Caught an older episode of Law & Order SVU yesterday. Never watch the show but I watched that episode because Norman Reedus guest starred lol.

So this happened last night...

...I was on my way to see Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Broadway (for the third time!) and when I was walking through Times Square, this group walked past and there was a guy filming them with this big green camera. Times Square has been taken over by people with selfie sticks, so I just remember seeing the camera and wondering now what on earth are people taking pictures with.

Anyway, after the show (which was amazing, again), I was talking with a friend on FB who's also a huge WD fan, and she asked if I happened to see Norman Reedus, since it was all over Twitter that he was in Times Square that night filming a video for some band.

I said I hadn't, and I was bummed about it, because I totally would have been on the lookout for him if I'd known he was there. So my friend sent me a picture from Instagram from right near where I saw the show.

And yep, there was Norman. With his big green camera.

I walked right past him! I noticed the camera, and never paid any attention to who was holding it. :rotfl2:

Did anyone see the Talking Dead is going to have a surprise cast member tonight? They better not be killing anyone in the first episode back LOL
