The Waitlist

Hey everyone,

We have been waitlisted at Saratoga and Old Keywest for January 9th - 15th 2013. What do you think the chances are for a cancellation? Do waitlists this far out normally work out?

You have a very good chance of having your waitlist come through. No worries.

It's always possible, but your dates do fall during the WDW Marathon (10th - 13th) which will make it more difficult.

Thanks for the info. It was our first reservation and the wait for the resale to be over with was stressful enough hahaha.

If you are satisfied with that reservation, make sure you cancel the other one. Or you might wind up at another location. But if you still want to try OKW, keep the other waitlist.

I thought that if you have two wait lists for the same exact dates, and one fills, the other one is automatically canceled?

But, I agree, just in case, I would check to be sure if being at SSR works!

That is my understanding also - if you have two for the exact same time the second one will cancel after the other one fills. But things aren't completely automated with the waitlist so I too would check.
