We move to CSR today

Gotta say goodbye to SOG, it’s a fun resort but I am soooo looking forward to seeing Coronado Springs for the first time. So much so, that I was up showered and on my way to CSR, and had us checked in by 8:30 am. Our rooms were even ready! So I grabbed up all my resort info, room keys and my first Disney Resort pen of the trip and went back to SOG to move.

I went down in front of our building for this shot.

We had a quiet pool directly to the left of our building and the DIG site pool about 100 yards to the right. We were in the Cabanas 8B.

Here are a few shots of the rooms. We had 2 rooms to accommodate the 8 of us.

I hung back at the room to settle in and almost missed another autograph session. There was a big college, pro bowl kind of game, in town this week and my family was getting autographs of all the players. When I got this shot they had just told my hubby (in the background) that he was the last one.

Hubby got 7 autographs including the star Michigan University quarterback and this was the only photo I managed to get…

We stopped by the Pepper Market to grab a bite for lunch. Everyone was very hungry, by now it was lunch time and we hadn’t even had breakfast yet.

And then we went for a swim at the DIG site

We have Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tonight so after a little bit I had to shuffle everyone back to the rooms to get ready.

As it was we arrived a little later than I had hoped. I was aiming for 4pm arrival and we got there at 5:30! Just a bit off, I’d say…

The Castle is always such a Magical site

We were so late that we tried to get on space mountain and it had a looooong line. So we jumped out of line to try for a fast pass and there were none. We did manage to get on the Indy Speedway.

While corralled in tomorrowland, we went and had dinner with Sonny Eclipse.

As soon as we finished we were able to go do some rides, so we headed over to the frontier side. We walked right on to BTMRR and the kids did splash mountain. The adults were too chicken about getting wet. Then we hopped on over to the haunted mansion.

We got held up by the first parade so I went in and bought my Christmas tigger hat. I love my new hat!

My Mom and BIL were getting tired so they headed back to the hotel for a little rest.

The kids, my hubby and I headed back over to tomorrowland and rode the TTA for the first time ever. It’s not exactly what I expected but it was nice to get off my feet and see a whole new view of MK.

Then we headed over to see Stitch!

This shot turned out better than I expected. I like the new stitch ride.

After stitch we went over to watch the fireworks & I got us a couple slushies to share.

We wandered over past the castle, we were ready to call it a night

On the way out of tomorrowland we spotted the free cookies and hot chocolate and indulged in that. Then we found the free photo area and had our picture taken.
I never did get those photos...

We did a little shopping and stopped to watch the parade before we headed out.
