looking for some info on the virtual reality thing in DTD. Was it suppose to be temporary? Looks like it staying around? I think my husband would love this.

I’d like to maybe do it too. Has anyone of plus sized done this? Do they have larger vests to accommodate larger busted people?

It’s not temporary, but they can switch up the film and scenario. There are rumors in the fall a Wreck it Ralph version could be included (don’t know if it would absolutely replace the SW one or just alternate).

I am a large busted woman (size 18/20) and I had no problems with the vests. I think i saw people even bigger than me doing it too. They are pretty adjustable for people of different sizes.

It definitely is a fun experience and something really well done. At times I was actually afraid of the simulated heights even though I knew we were just walking on the ground.

We’re trying this out in December! I’ve heard nothing but amazing things. I consider myself mid to plus-sized, and I’ve seen larger individuals participate with no issues!

Thanks! It looks like they book about 45 days ahead of time. I’m a planner!

How far in advance can you book this? I just tried to book for mid September and it’s showing no bookings yet.

The rest of my family has done it and loved it. (I don't do well with virtual reality so I opted to skip it.) Definitely recommend making reservations. They may take walkups if they have room but you will wait longer than if you make a reservation.

VOID vets here. We've done it in DLR twice (Feb & April) and WDW (July) once. Our son turned 10 in February and we went for his birthday. While you are supposed to be 10 to play, they are most concerned about the height. We love it, but wish they could add a new scenario.
We are a family of 3 and they've never put anyone else with us to play as you can enter as a team of up to 4. It filled very quickly in Jan/Feb (just after opening), but I believe there is more availability and less demand now. If you are going during a busier time I'd suggest booking as soon as you know and it's open to book (45 days out or so). You can get a refund if you are unable to go.

The vest/backpack can be heavy, but the time goes by so quickly you barely notice. Shooting stormtroopers is fun...:) Anyone with a love of Star Wars or video games will have a blast...er...

We will be there for Labor Day, but have opted to wait until our October trip to do it again.

We did this in March - family of 4 with two teenagers - it was really fun. We'd for sure do it again if they switched up the scene. We had reservations, no wait and it was a great experience. The only problem was our kids kept arguing over who screwed up the mission more.

No other options for a longer session as the scenario plays and you follow a mission. The mission is screwed up regardless of who does what or what you do (don't tell the kids ;)). The only thing you can improve is how efficiently you can kill stormtroopers and avoid being hit yourself.

Is there an option for an hour, or is it just 30 minutes?

There was only one mission option when we went to the Anaheim location earlier this year. And 30 minutes is a stretch...it takes awhile to sign in and suit up, but the mission itself felt more like 15 minutes (or maybe even less?). Completely worth it though.

I bought tickets online (through ATOM tickets at the time) a few days beforehand, and all time slots were full except for 11:30pm. I stopped by their facility early on the morning of my reservation, and thankfully was able to cancel the late night time and book an afternoon spot. (There seemed to be many open spots for the afternoon, none of which had shown up online.) So if you are out of luck online, you may still have luck in person. Or don't wait until the last minute like I did.

Any guesses about whether or not this will still be around in March of next year?

We did this in WDW last month and it was fun! DH and DS (13) did it on one of our break days and they loved it so much that they convinced me to go with on our second break day! (I skipped because I am claustrophobic and was worried about freaking out...turns out there was nothing to worry about.)

It is awesome, we did it twice during our February trip to WDW and already have tickets for our Halloween trip to Disneyland! I doubt they will drop the SW storyline, with Galaxy's Edge opening up next year, but they are planning to add a Wreck It Ralph version this Fall.

How far in advance can this be reserved?
They typically release a few months worth of tickets at a time but it’s not selling out the way it did when it first started. However that will likely change once the wreck it Ralph is added in.

We are wanting to book on Sunday 11/25 and i was planning on checking at the same time I can make my ADR’s for my trip
