Max: "Scourgify," She quickly cast, getting rid of the blood. "Well, you're certainly in not so good shape. The least you can do is contain it." She cast another spell that wrapped bandages all up her torso. Alex: "Are you okay? I'm Alex Stafford, that's my older sister Max."

Jolie: "Oh, this killed me before. A pirate stabbed me all the way through. Sorry. I-I'm Jolie Leroy. My little brother Remy Leroux-Malfoy is over there. But he grew up and I didn't, because I died, and he changed. He said mean things."

Alex: "I'm dead too. I died when I was this age. Killing Curse from a death eater. When the war was starting."

Max: "Malfoy? Like Draco Malfoy the insufferable git? He always gave Ron and Harry and Hermione and I such an awful time. Well, he did until after the war. We kind of came to a truce. He's still a git though."

Alex: "Maaaxxxx."

Max: "Oh, right, conversation. Yeah, younger brothers can be annoying, I got one too. He could e hard to live with at times."

Alex: He stared at her incredulously. "I was hard to live with?"

Max: "Touche."

Alex: "Look, take it from another dead kid - of course the people who live on are going to grow up. It's natural - except for Max anyway but she's an entirely different species. And when people grow up, they change and they learn and they expand their horizons and they become things and they experience stuff. Just because he changed and you had an argument doesn't mean he doesn't love or care about you. It means he's independent, and he moved on with his life instead of wasting away despairing and pitying over the dead while we dead people were, well, we were dead."

Jolie: "I know, but he just didn't want anything to do with me and it hurt. I know I shouldn't be upset. I wish for a chair." A chair appeared and she sat down in it, putting her face in her hands. "I'm sorry I'm being so down when we have just met. I agree Malfoy's a git, I didn't want him taking my brother, but I had no power against it because, well, I'm dead."

Max: "Well, he was a good father in the end I suppose. His son Scorpius is a good kid. Although good at naming kids, not so much."

Alex: "Anger is one of the stages of the grieving cycle/process/whatever. It's completely natural that he was angry."

Jolie: She smirked. "I always felt bad for Scorpius when he went through school. We talked a bit, but I couldn't get over his name." She looked up at Alex. "You're so smart. I know, it's true." She looked back over at Remy. "I'm sorry," she whispered.

Max: "Yeah, poor kid."

Alex: "Actually, I was the Gryffindor, Max was the Ravenclaw."

Max: She blinked. "Merlin's Bloody White Beard!"

Alex: "What?"

Max: "Remember my first year, when I was working on my Alternate Universe Theory?"

Alex: "Yeah, before you decided Quidditch and doing stuff to get detentions was more fun. Why?"

Max: "I think this proves it!" She turned to Jolie. "Okay, so magic is constantly flowing right? And when our spells dissipate and when witches and wizards die our magic is poured right back into the magical atmosphere or whatever, right? Well, when I was 11, I noticed that a certain amount of magic just fades away, disappears completely, which is against everything we were ever taught. But that magic has to go somewhere, right? So I started researching, and I found myself looking at portals and such, and after a portal closes, some of the magic kind of hangs around in the air there. So I started wondering, and thinking, and I came up with what I like to call the Alternate Universe Theory, which is that that extra magic that fades away instead of reentering the atmosphere is actually going to fuel alternate universes, and some of our magic must come from those universes to us. Jolie, this has to be true because I'm pretty sure you're from a different universe than us."

OOC: that actually relieves me.

OOC: Good

Jolie: "Wow! That's amazing!" She blushed. "I was just a Hufflepuff. Should I go talk to Remy and apologize?"

Alex: "If you're ready."

Jolie: "Well, I've had years and years to figure out how to apologize to him and what to say when I saw him, so I guess I am." She shrugged and slowly walked back over to him. "I'm sorry. I know the only reason you changed was because you grew up. I just don't like to accept it. You're still my baby brother to me, and I know you're not that anymore."

Lori: Lori was frantically wiping the tears from her eyes. She said, "Oh Mari, I just don't remember what happened last. I can't remember myself dying this round."

Alec: Alec continued to murmur in gibberish until he looked up. He said, "Hey Georgie, I just realized that there might be a plus to this. Maybe Florentina could be here."

Lori: "How could you think of her at a time like this?" she wailed. "I don't even remember a funeral being planned. I don't know if I'll be able to get back."

Alec: "How do you know if you can go back?" He stood. "We don't know if we can go back. I bet this is where all the dead people who don't become ghosts live."

Lori: Lori didn't respond.

Alec: Alec gave the girl a hug. He gasped. "I wish for a mirror." A mirror appeared next to him and he looked in it.

Lori: Lori's eyebrows raised as she watched the man check himself out. She groaned. "That is the most sickening thing I've seen today." The girl laid down on the ground and wondered if she'd ever see Chrissy again.

Remy: "Apology accepted."

Georgie: She held Alec. "I-I guess we are. Tears ran down her face. Then everyone here is. Melanie!" she buried her face in Alec's shoulder and sobbed.

Alec: "My wife! My beautiful daughters..." he trailed off.

Georgie: She took Alec's hands and pulled him into a hug. "enough, okay? Let's just sit and relax."

Mari: She sat down next to Lori and pulled her on her lap. "are you thinking about him again?"

Jolie: "Good. Uh, so, what was it like to be a grownup?"

Georgie: "Your wife and girls will be okay, Alec."

Georgie: She took Alec's hands and pulled him into a hug. "enough, okay? Let's just sit and relax."

Mari: She sat down next to Lori and pulled her on her lap. "are you thinking about him again?"

Alec: Alec was fascinated by his old appearance. He asked, "Did I really look like that?"

Lori: "I think about Chris everyday no matter what." she frowned. "Is it weird to also be thinking about your daughter as an eleven year old? I mean, I hope Jessica will be okay."

Georgie: "You look handsome, Alec."

Mari: "I do too, I mean, he's my husband, so it's justified, but still. I hope Chris is taking good care of little Lori."

Jolie: "Good. Uh, so, what was it like to be a grownup?"

Georgie: "Your wife and girls will be okay, Alec."

Remy: "There were parts of it that were hard. Money, politics, work... but the other things made up for it. Love, my children..."

Jolie: She nodded awkwardly, not fully understanding. "Oh," she said quietly.

Georgie: "You look handsome, Alec."

Mari: "I do too, I mean, he's my husband, so it's justified, but still. I hope Chris is taking good care of little Lori."

Alec: "I can't remember the last time I looked in a mirror."

Lori: "Do you think Chrissy already misses us? I don't think Ivan misses me."
