I watched the VMAs about half way through. I knew what it was going to be, but still I continued to watch it anyway. I didn't care for the music (P!ATD sang horribly) and it seemed a bit too scripted. I shouldn't be able to see so clearly that they are reading, heh.

The only good part, of what I saw (I missed Ok Go, among very few I wanted to see lol), was the 30 seconds when Axel Rose announced the next group of singers lol. He has aged quite a bit though, IMHO. I truly think he was one of the very few good singers on that stage and heh, he didn't even sing lol.

when I realized it was on CTV, I changed the channel, and saw Jack Black. What an amazing host. He is just... hilarious. I just love him.
Fergie sang really crappy.
I really hate MCR now. That song was just boring, and their entire new album is a story. Not like human experiences, it's literally a story.
OkGo was amazing! I loved the treadmilll thing.

I love Ok Go. Their music videos are so unique. When I heard they showed the treadmill dance, I was like, D'oh! I couldn't believe I missed it. I hoped the awards would get better, but alas, they did not.

I agree, Jack Black is awesome...very funny. But I didn't see much of him during the awards. I expected more, I guess. I don't know.

Jessica Simpson has laryngitis. She has an appearence onn MOD on Tuesday, and I'm hoping for better confirmation on her & John Mayer's relationship.
She say's they're together.
His blog says "I'm really enjoying this song" with a picture of Public Enemy's Don't Believe The Hype.
And they've both got laryngitis.

Anyways, Shakira really deserved best dance video. I forget who won, but her dancing is amazing.

That song was terrible. Yeah, I do like MCR. I liked their last album and I'll admit it. But this new song, I was like...***? It was terrible.

However, I do like the fact that they're doing a concept album. Concept albums are my favorite.

I know it's horrible music, because half the song doesn't even rhyme ( I have this issue with rhyming) but his voice is addictive. Brandon Flowers voice is addictive.

That song was terrible. Yeah, I do like MCR. I liked their last album and I'll admit it. But this new song, I was like...***? It was terrible.

However, I do like the fact that they're doing a concept album. Concept albums are my favorite.

I liked MCR's album Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge. That was good stuff. But I'm not a fan of the Black Parade. It didn't make much sense to me. Concept stuff is a neat idea, but I've never really found and album like that that I want.

I'm aware. But I'm the kind of person who enjoys that kind of music. The stuff that rhymes.
But When You Were Young is just.. like. It just gets to me for some reason.
