UGH!!! It's been a month now! A month I tell ya! First it was a nasty case of bronchitis and after about 3 weeks it started to look like it was getting better. Then, before it went away completely I get a sinus infection. I have never expelled so much icky green stuff in all my life Somebody please feel sorry for me??

Oh, I empathize! I have been sick for 2 weeks. Diagnosed with a sinus infection on Friday and started antibiotics, but I feel kind of WORSE toda...like it's now affecting my bronchial tubes. Hard to explain...ugh. Hope you feel better soon!

I'm sorry and I hope you're feeling better soon. I had one of those a few weeks ago and thought it would NEVER leave.

I thought this thread was going to be about a computer virus though. LOL My son got a Trojan on their computer and I spent about 4 hours trying to get rid of is yesterday. I ran adaware, spybot, and a virus check about 5 times total each and the stupid virus would be back as soon as the system would reboot. Guess it looks like I'll be reformatting and reinstalling everything on it in the next day or two. UGGGHHHHH!

I guess it's still better than a real virus though!

Sorry, I didn't mean to gross anyone out. Oh my aching sinuses. I'm sure my face is going to explode at some point tonight. Someone just shoot me and put me out of my misery!

That happened to me three years ago. Got a nasty cold (actually probably more than a cold but I never went to the doctors) that lasted about two weeks. It hadn't even completely cleared when the sinus infection popped up. I spent three weeks on two rounds of antibiotics for the sinus infection, because the first one didn't work. I was miserable, and it was exactly this time of year too. By the time all was said and done with I was sick for a month and a half.

Have you been to the doctor yet? I was just diagnosed with pneumonia.......and had symptoms like yours. I am now on antibiotics and still am not feeling great. I hope you feel better very soon! aw:

I went early on and he said it was bronchitis but that was 3 weeks ago. I told Dh that if things don't improve overnight I'm headed into the clinic tomorrow. Considering I have cancer it's not suprising that it would hang on this long so I was kinda waiting to see if it cleared up on it's own before going back.

Definitely go back tomorrow. Since your immune system might be a bit compromised due to the cancer, you don't want to mess around! Please take it easy and let us know what the doctor says. aw:

Hope you feel better soon. I got a chest cold on our Disney vacation and had to come home a week early. I have no fever but I still have the cough. I cough up that icky stuff too, but no sinus problems. It seems this is one nasty bug that is going around. A friend of mine has had it for 8 weeks now. She had bronchitis and after two rounds of antibiotics, she is still not completely over it.

I am rght there with ya.I have been sick since Christmas day and I still feel the same as I did the day I got sick.I have antibiotics and they are not helping that much.I was also prescribed Duratuss for cough,I would just as well off drinking water because he stuff is doing absolutely nothing at all.
DH has been sick since Christmas Eve,and then ot some kind of stomach bug yeasterday and was not able to work today.So I am just waiting on that .
I have not been sick in years and I have stayed sick this season.It started in October when I went to Disney and was sick the entire trip,had a sinus infection and double ear infection.
