The Villages (Lady Lake area)

My dad is looking to rent a villa at The Villages for next Feb. (the whole month). We've been checking vrbo.com and valuevacationresorts.com but everything is booked. Do any of you know another good way to find an opening for this popular golf resort?

Hi!

My folks live in Lake County for six months of the year. I suspect that your dad might have a difficult time finding an opening for Winter 07/08 right in the Villages. Believe it or not, it is getting late to find winter rentals for next year already. However, you can contact owners and asked to be put on a waitlist in case there are any cancellations.

If he's willing to stay outside of The Villages, he could probably still find a nice place in Lake County, and for a lot less than $3k per month. There are some really lovely developments south of Leesburg on 27.
