So, did anyone happen to catch this twisted, bone-chilling flick over the weekend? Not the greatest movie in my estimation, but it had its moments. When my friends and I walked out after, none of us could really decide if we liked it or not. It's just one of those types of movies.

I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but I have to ask - For those who did see it, what did you think?

I definitely want to see it. My boyfriend and I decided to wait until I was back at school to go see it.

i would like to see it. im not sure if i will like it or not but i am never sure until i see it so this movie is definetly on my list of ones to see. when i see it ill let ya know what i thought of it.

I'm a huge fan of M. Night Shyamalan and his past movies (Signs is one of my favorite movies) and I did not like The Village at all. I felt overwhelmed and laughed at the acting and dialog. It could have been so much better. The ideas were their, as well as the allegory of living in a post 9/11 world and the twists, though obvious, was the only way it could be done, but the execution of all of it was terrible. I thought only Byrce Dallas Howard, who played Ivy was good, but the rest was just not. Very dissapointing.

I thought it was pretty good...But not scary at all! It looked scary but it wasn't!

i'm gonna see it tomarrow with my friend. Hopefully I won't hate it. :smooth:

I expected to dislike the movie, but I came out of the theater thrilled that it wasn't another Signs-I was extremely disappointed and it is one of the only movies I hate, along with Moulin Rouge...I think the trend is, if you liked Signs, you're not really going to be a fan of The Village...but see it anyway, maybe I'm wrong

I'm the only one out of my friends who liked it. It's unlike signs in the sense that its not horror per say. I thought the story twists were great. People will say they knew from the beginning...but come on now! And I agree, Bryce Howard was awesome!

SInce I'm only 11, and I wasn't alowed to watch Signs, My mom and I agree that I shouldn't see it. CAN SOMEONE JUST TELL WHAT HAPPENED!

i saw this last night with a bunch of my friends and we all thought the ending was sooooo stupid...i mean how can u leave off with "im back" or something like that....anyway the rest of the movie was ok...the only part that was scary was when Ivy was in the woods and that "thing" came...that was the only part where pratically everyone in the movie theater screamed.....other than that it wasn't that scary....i would give this movie a 6

I like M. Night Shyamalan a lot. His movies aren't scary scary ,but mentally scary if that makes sense. I'll probably go see it with Corey.

I liked it actually.....but it wasn't scary like I thought it would be.....but I still liked it!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :sunny:

I liked it. It was very witty I think its one of those movies ware you keep thinking about it because at first I wasnt to fond of it then I did some research on the net and understood it better and now I really like it.

I just saw that movie today with my cousin. I honestly didn't think I would like it but it was really cool. It wasn't as scary as I thought it would be even though there were a few scenes that made me jump a little lol. All around great movie though.

i saw the movie about a week ago expecting it to be so scary..but it wasnt! i still havent decided if i like it because it wasnt at all what i expected. it wasnt scary but there was like 1 or 2 scences that made me jump a lil. the story was good but ..i dont know it could have been scarier.

** i luv myy pirate: pirate:

All of my friends thought it was horrible, but I LOVED it! The end was a little disappointing, but it fit well. I also know that there's a strong meaning behind it....I just don't know what yet:teeth: Okay, maybe there isn't .....But there might be. AAARRRGH!! I always argue with myself! Stop it! Anyway, it was excellent and I think Bryce Dallas Howard was amazing. Did you know that she's Ron Howard's daughter? I guess awesomeness runs in the family...
