Has anyone recently stayed here? This is the resort off Lindsfield and 192. Any info would be appreciated. Specifically need to know how many the 2 bedroom sleeps. I have an exchange there in August, and need to know if the 2 bedroom sleeps 8. I was told 8 by RCI, but read elsewhere 7. So I turn to the best source for info I know, my fellow Disboards. :goodvibes

I have found the best information is through my exchange company, which for me is Interval International. I did a quick search and here is a link to a timeshare resale for these units which includes floorplans and photos.

Looks to me like it depends on the size of the sofabed on the upstairs landing! From the floorplan it looks to be smaller than the one in the living room. If the unit is owned as a timeshare, it is possible the furniture is different that what is shown on the resale site. Sorry I can't be of more help but would be interested to know what you find out. The weekly rental costs for these units look very reasonable and/or this might be an alternative location for our exchange in the future.

Hi, eight is a lot to put into a two bedroom condo...

I drive by Mango Key a lot and it is a nice older condo developement in great location. Nice quick way to Disney...Go north back to 192 and turn right...
go east about a mile and turn left on Black Lake Road...take it all the way untill it ends and turn left on Sherberth. Can be a tricky turn if lots of traffic so be heads up...take Sherberth all the way to traffic light at Osceola Parkway. Turn left for AKingdom Lodge if going to Bomas or just a fun tour and right for everything else. To exit Disney follow signs to Animal Kingdom (a couple of quick right hand turns, so watch for signs) stay LEFT at Animal Kingdom to ANIMAL KINGDOM LODGE. Left on Sherberth back to Black Lake or just go another 100 feet and turn right on 192 as traffic going west should be easy. All the way to Lindfields red brick sign (which is hard to see so look carefully)
As for the condo, only way to do eight unless you have pack and play and very little ones is if they put bunks in one room. Most bedrooms will have a King or Queen (2) two twins (2), pull out couch (2 max) and punt from there. One option is to hit Walmart for $30.00 double or queen airbed or try to bring one along...sleeping bags always an option for the little ones...Hope it works for you...it will be tight!!

I talked to someone at the managment company for Mango Key, they told me the 2 bedrooms sleep 8. The layout is queen size in master(2), pull out Queen sofa bed in living room(2), 2 twins in 2nd bedroom,(2) and a full size futon in a loft/den area upstairs (2). My concern is can two people sleep on a futon comfortably. I suppose I will have to put my two small kids on the futon, 3 and 5 years old. I thought about bringing an air mattress with us also, since were driving it wouldn't be that big of deal. The photos show some rooms with a futon, but some rooms with just a oversized chair fold out. A little stressed now, don't know whether to try to cancel and find another exchange, or just trust them and see what happens.:scared1:

Thanks for the info.

Heck, first 5 times we took our little ones to Disney in the 70's and 80's we stayed in a cramped hotel room and had a ball. If they were teens I would worry a bit, but I'll bet they will love "camping out" in the loft...if the price is right...go for it...Ted
