The view from Dumbo? What can you see?

Dumbo used to be one of my favorite rides because although it lasts a very short time, the old version would take you up high and you could see Cinderella's Castle and Fantasy Land from an entirely different view. Loved it.

Now, with the location change...is the magic gone? What kind of view do you have?

Yes, it was neat to soar by the castle. But ride the "new" Dumbo at night and I promise you will love it . The lights and water fountains are just beautiful. Plus it's often a walk-on later at night.

Well, I was really gonna say the other Dumbo ride, but same difference lol

You can't see as much as you would when Dumbo was by the castle. However, as PP noted, it is great at night! Waterfalls, lights - it's almost like you are in the MSEP and the Water Pageant at once! (OK, not really, but still). And really, while I could live without riding it, my two year old can't. It is pretty much a walk-on at night and we have ridden it at least 7 times in a row with son - we could barely get him off of it! And while having one Dumbo used to lead to long lines in the broiling sun (It was a right of childhood passage to brave that line!) having two dumbos + play area makes it much more reasonable and "magical" to many parents!

You can still see cnderellas castle, though mostly just the top of it. This makes the vantage point during wishes pretty cool.

I need to ride it at night but imo, the daytime view was better at the old location.

Thanks for the tip! I will be looking forward to trying this when I am there! I think my friends would get a kick out of that! A classic ride at night with a beautiful view
