i love that kid xD
Hey Haz. Whats up? :]
Hey Sofa, not much. 'Sup there?
Hey Haz!
How'd your thing go?
It was today, right?
Yeh it was pretty shocking, what goes around does indeed come around.
I got a 6th in the first class despite my awful riding, I cleared the 2nd course but Comet randomly ran out of one of the fences for the jump off, it was so gutting because if he hadn't I'd have quite possibly have won the class (my actual time was quicker than the girl who got 2nd).
My friend didn't do too well either, she didn't get anywhere in the first class and just missed out on a rosette in the second. I watched both of our jump-offs and I'm proud to say that despite our little mishap with the third fence me and comet looked much tidier and team-like, my friend was all flappy and shouty. She was really peeved that she didn't get a rossette as well and hit her pony, which you know she says she hates when people do that. lmfao.
I don't know what happened in our first round but he most definitely wasn't the Comet I know, he bucked, he tried to pull out, it was so weird completely different to the one that came 2nd in that class a few weeks back. He was back to himself in the 2nd round and jump off minus the one jump but I have a theory that the rain and wind was spooking him because in the 2nd class it was dry and started raining again as I approached the 3rd fence of the jump-off.
hmmm. some weirdo just called me on my cell.
i asked them who it was and then they were like "you probally dont remember me"
*ackward silence*
*i hang up*
then they called back. so i didnt answer.

I'm sorry it didn't go too well for ya.
I think she was peed off because I had a rosette and she didn't.
It's kind of upsetting because last time he went, I thought we were finally seeing some improvement and today was just a total setback. I mean he is so beyond capable of jumping higher courses but I'm not willing to do them until he cuts his nonsense with the fillers. Mind you filler-wise the equestrian centre we went to today is by far the most challenging, I haven't actually had any problems with fillers at the two riding club shows, my aim with them is to do the 1'9 2ft and 2'3 whilst I'll keep it 1'6 1'9 and 2' for places like the one today. I also really want to start getting some flatwork lessons so I can start doing showing and dressage because at the end of the day he excels at that, he is not a show-jumper and for 5 months I don't think we're doing too badly. But my main priority is to get his teeth seen to before we go anywhere else because I think that contributed to his buck today, it's not too bad but I'm having to ride as if I have no bridle, it's easy until you need to pull him and I've noticed that he's been using it as an excuse to be a little faster and a little more bargy than usual.
