Does anyone get paranoid that they will miss their banking deadline and have a hard time seeing points sitting there as it nears.

I dont know why I feel the urge to bank before the deadline and it irritates me that im hoping a wl for December goes thru so points are still sitting there

I always end up banking way ahead of time. I usually have something booked the following UY that I can then modify to use my newly-banked points. So far it's worked out but I'm only 2 years in

I can’t even imagine 25 nights at WDW. The most we’ve ever done has been 8….

I'm never not borrowing.... during Covid they limited borrowing and that was the first time I had something in June when the points replenish.... for 3 contracts! Waiting for the mythical fire sale so I can get another 150 direct and then I "promise" I'll just use what I planned to book . In my defense we have aulani points that we use every other year for a 2 bedroom standard view for a week and it is half the points so that borrow situation is built into the math.

Same boat! We have 3 whopping points left for UY 2025 and 1 pt for UY 2026

LOL, the more things change, the more they stay the same. We started our DVC life by borrowing, and we borrowed every year for 3 years. Then we took a little 18-month break from WDW but started borrowing again. I've just looked at my spreadsheet, and we have banked points exactly 4 times in over 25 years. We borrowed 16 points from our September 2026 UY for our visit this coming December 2025, but then we'll be saving for a hoped-for family trip in our 2027 UY!
