Good Morning Hyena Tater Tots!

I have an exciting oil change appointment that I need to leave and go to in a bit.

My bf is still asleep and doesn't want to go with me this time. Oooo....I might stop at Fry's since it's next door. I need to get a new XD card for a digital camera I ordered. I have an olympus one and the spring inside it won't hold the memory card in place. I called Olympus and they said they don't have the spring in stock and when they did get it, it would cost over $100 for labor. Forget that! So I thought I may as well just buy a new one. I found one that is 10.1 megapixel and has a 7.0 zoom at Costco for $149 on sale (it costs over $300 at Frys). It got good reviews too.

My bf and I plan to watch Up today in 3-D. I heard it was awesome so we shall see. I Pixar movies!!

That sucks! Well not the DL part. Just wish people wouldn't play games like that when people's futures are on the line like that.

Yup. The thought of Disneyland keeps me going though.

Speaking of Disneyland, I really ought to stay away from the Dollar Aisle at Target because whenever I'm there they have so much cute Disney stuff that I think I need to buy for my cousins to keep them occupied while in line, when really they don't need more stuff in general.

I recently bought a new memory card for my camera and the cheapest prices I found overall were at Target (cheaper than the advertised prices at Best Buy and such). So you might want to go there first, depending on what size you want (I also had to buy a memory card for my video camera, and the prices for that weren't bad either, so that swayed my decision to buy from Target).

Just got home from my oil change appointment.....man, a small service turned into a bill that was over $200! While my car was up on the lift, they showed me that one of the engine mounts was loose and fluid was leaking out of it. The part alone is at least $200 and then my oil change was $40, plus tax, so oi vay! What could I do? I had them replace it. My bill was around $246. The technician said it's not a huge repair but it's better to be safe. I do like this dealership though because they haven't ripped me off and they have actually shown me problems physically.

My bf and I are going to watch Up soon. I'll let you know if it's good.

Ugh... so we had a most fun day at the park... UNTIL we got home and realized Vinny got a sunburn!! I am the WORST MOMMY EVER. Poor little guy looks like a tomato. His little cheekies are so pink. So we have him all aloed up.

We also bought another baby carrier.... Cant wait to use it!

Well, good afternoon actually. I didn't get a chance to see Up yesterday so my bf and I are going to watch it in a few minutes. The theatre we like to go to sold out of the early show times and the last one is too late in the evening, so we are going to watch it at elsewhere.

Yesterday my bf bought an iPhone 3G (16GB). His contract ended with T-Mobile last year and he's just been paying monthly. The problem is that T-Mobile got rid of a lot of their towers so his phone rarely had any bars. I would try to call him or text him and he wouldn't receive it until late. If I did reach him a lot of times the calls would drop because his phone would lose it's signal. I had the same problem when I was still with T-Mobile. Luckily I switched over to Verizon. I now get signals in places I didn't before (such as the fitting room of GAP) or when I'm driving in certain spots.


My bf kept playing with my phone (Blackberry Storm) because it's similar to an iPhone. He's really happy with his iPhone. He was playing with it all night and again this morning.

Nope, been there done that too.

We had N in the shade .. or so I thought.. one sunny afternoon when he was about 3 months old.
He got cranky later that day, redness on one side of his face.

Brought him to urgent care to get checked over and doc couldn't decide if it was a skin infection or if it was sunburn.

Wait sunburn?? Hubby goes oooooooo I bet that's what it is the shady spot was more like a dappled shade. Just enough sun to burn my light brown baby boy. oops!


Darn kid never would keep a hat on, but he does now.


I loved the legionnaire style hats with big brim and the extra fabric at the back of the neck. J had one, until the bugger tossed it off and lost it on a bus.

Very nice garden! Lucky duck, it's just the start of planting season here. Need to wait a few more weeks to hit the farmer's market for locally grown produce. yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmm!

THAT is an awesome hat. I dont know how it happened.. We werent in direct sunlight that much. But it must have been enough, because I am burnt too. I feel like crap. everytime he smiles at me, I want to cry!! I have FAILED you!! My dh had to talk me down last night.. I am a little... high strung.. You all know that. I was about to hand him over to CPS myself!! I was bawling.. Im not fit to be a twin mommy!! No more sun for my kid, until we have BIG hats.

The real test is near Pirates. Every phone I have had .. dead space between Pirates entrance and Riverbelle. Mid sentence, turn my head to one side and POOF dropped the call.

I love my Itouch, he's going to have lots of fun discovering all the different apps to download. Lots of free ones and tempting paid apps. We get the "lite" versions that are free, try them out and if they are really good we go ahead and buy. Some of the ones we have: Pocket God, Zombieville, Amateur Surgeon, Spawn Lite, Falling Balls, Pandora, Iheartradio

I don't know. I've read of people doing two rooms instead of a suite for any of the disney hotels. But don't remember anything about AP rates in suites... good thing to post on the board.


I know Hojo's allows ENT rate for thier suite, but heard it's hard to get a reservation.

They are also putting in kids suites at the Hojos. Have ou seen them? I guess they are Pirate themed, but Im not sur eon their occupancy. I have seen 5 or 6 people.
