The UNFAVORABLES are back!!!

Started at 5:00 am Central Time and completed my purchase of the DVC annual pass at 7:45. Continued to get kicked off but kept at it. Now Disney can get some of my unfavorable money. Going to Moonlight Magic in September and two or three more trips later this year.

Bob Chapek talked in an investor’s call about unfavorable attendance mix, mostly at DL. He meant they were getting more AP’s attending and not enough regular ticket holders, which was lowering their profit.

Chapek, in one of his messages to stockholders, famously referred to passholders as being “unfavorable” in terms of profitability of the parks, i.e., they don’t spend as much as regular ticket buyers but take up park capacity.

I still don’t get they comment cause my food bill for our last 12 day trip would like to differ. But we also ate at all our favorite places that we haven’t been to in a few years. Totally worth it cause our dinners were awesome!

I’m just glad to have the pass back cause it will deff help us a lot once we start going multiple times a year again.

The cherry pick metrics at time to match their messaging. In this case the CEO just takes what's fed to him rather than using a brain.

I hope the person or people who wrote and vetted that speech were promptly fired by Iger upon his return. Using that term would get you tossed out of the room where I work - He is lucky we all took it as "passholders" and not some other connotation.
