Saturday 15th May - Animal Kingdom, Mini Golf & Magic Kingdom

After a couple of days away from Disney, I really was ready to return! We decided, as we needed to use our passes for Dinosaur, that we'd head across to the Animal Kingdom in the morning.

On entering, we headed off towards DinoLand to ride Dinosaur. We arrived outside only to be told it wasn't working and was down for maintenance We really wasn't having much luck with this ride! Instead, we walked around to Everest and hoped into the stand-by queue which was only 20 minutes. On leaving EE, we headed back around towards Dinosaur - still broken!

We gave up for a while and decided to go on a character hunt! We were on our way around to head up towards Camp Mickey-Minnie when we found a small queue. I nearly passed out when I saw it was Lilo & Stitch!

After meeting Lilo & Stitch we did head up the trail towards Mickey himself. We got around there and grabbed a drink before bumping into Chip & Dale who loved that we'd got engaged and fussed over us both!

We queued up to meet the gang and got some great photo's with them and loads of 'Congrats' from the CM's, which was really lovely!

After leaving the camp, we attempted Dinosaur - again! We finally got through the queue and managed to complete a full ride I'd forgotten how bumpy that ride really is! On our way out after the ride, we stopped by and had some fun with Winnie the Pooh and friends.

After meeting Pooh and the gang, we decided to head out of AK and across to I-drive. On the way out, a Photopass guy stopped and asked if we'd like some done in front of the tree. We took him up on his offer and he was brilliant. We got loads of photos at this point, he wasn't busy so he spent time doing different shots with us

We hopped the bus back to ASSp and grabbed the car to head out to I-drive and Denny's for some lunch. We looked around some of the shops around there before driving down to Pirates Cove Mini Golf. We love this course and were excited to play it again. We set off on our first round and it was HOT!

We played both courses - and nearly melted in the heat, before hopping back to ASSp to get showered, changed and chill out for a while before deciding to head over to the Magic Kingdom.

IT WAS CRAZY!! Saturday night at the Magic Kingdom wasn't good Everything, including the TTA in Tomorrowland was ridiculously busy! We decided to get fast passes for Buzz and get into the queue for the TTA.

After the TTA ride, we still had some time before our FP's, so I asked could we do Carousel of Progress, as I hadn't done this since I was 9 and couldn't remember it. Knowing it was a Walt classic made me want to experience it even more. I adored it

We finally rode Buzz again before heading down to the hub to see if there was anywhere we could catch Wishes. There wasn't, surprise eh? Instead whilst Wishes was on, we headed into Fantasy Land and did 'Its a Small World' and Philharmagic before giving up and heading back to the resort for a few drinks by the pool bar

I couldn't resist it in Next when I seen it, I just had to have a top like Minnie! Sadly, I never met her in her original outfit when wearing it!

Oh I adored it I was quite happily singing along. I think the boys were bored, but I really didn't care!
